  “Its the 1st time I've had food from this place. Ive been looking for decent Caribbean food and this was the 1. I had curry goat the taste was on point, the goat was so soft with a good amount of meat, a large amount of food for 1 but shared between 2 people. I had 2 other dishes pilourie with tamerine sauce and doubles with chana. Both were amazing 👏 fluffy soft and full of flavour. The prices were ridiculously affordable good value for money. I will be eating from here again keep up to good tasty foods...”

  “Sorry to write a negative reviews, but if it can be taken constructively then they can improve. I LOVE doubles, so I ordered them from here. Unfortunately, they were soggy and horrible, the flavour was also bad. I had the fish and prawn curry, both were disgusting, especially the prawn curry. I tried to palm it off on my son, without telling him my views, and he said it was horrible too. Big improvements need to be made here, I won't be buying from here again, I cant risk losing money wasting food.”

  “My daughter and I have been up all night with stomach issues and the roti we got from this place was the only thing we ate all day. Disappointing that the roti wasn’t dhalpuri, just some thick, undercooked, underfilled flat bread and the meat in the goat curry filling was gristly. I used to like eating from here but it seems to have gone downhill”

  “Ordered Lamb roti for £12, it used to have a lot of meat in it now it is mainly just the wrap. I don't know what has happened but it seems that they are cutting corners with the portion sizes.”

  “This by far one of the best Caribbean food restaurant. The people are really lovely and friendly. And the food oh my gosh the food is absolutely delicious 😋🤤 The best Roti taste just like my mum's who is sadly no longer here 😢 So this is the absolute best place for to get Roti and think of my mom.”

  “Avoid this place if you don’t want to risk food poisoning. The hygiene standards are shockingly low. When I ordered doubles, I watched the staff pull out a dirty plastic container from the back, fill it with curry, snap a plastic lid on, and microwave the whole thing. Aside from the fact that you should never microwave food with a plastic lid on, why would anyone use a visibly dirty container for customer orders? To make matters worse, they microwaved my order inside a paper bag, which became so hot that it melted the paper wrapping and created a complete mess, just look at the photo. This place seriously needs to be inspected for food safety and hygiene. It’s such a shame because I’d heard this was a good spot to try Jamaican food, but the experience was a total disappointment.”

  “My mother got a vegetarian roti wrap, and she liked it. I asked them to heat up my prawn and roti. I was very hungry, so I ate the prawns, which were good, but the gravy was not tasty. It had a strange flavor, possibly from saffron, so I had to throw it away. I didn't want to be rude when they asked about my meal, but they need to know that the sauce for the prawns needs work. The roti had an Asian taste, while I expected it to taste more like Trinidadian roti and prawns. Maybe if I had chosen a meat dish with my roti, I would have enjoyed it more”

  “One of at least 3 outlets across London. The same quality at each one. First the rotis are huge, I like to say Trinidad Style. Full of meat and flavour. Be sure to try a mixture of your choice of meat, pumpkin, tamarind sauce as well as mild pepper. Then close your eyes and enjoy one of the finest culinary delights this side of say, Trinidad! Prices are kept low in these post Covid times but they only take cash. Not a problem, as there is a Sainsbury's cashpoint a couple stores down. On a subsequent visit on aSaturday evening, I was told by a nearby business owner that "they've gone home after selling out!" So come nearer to lunchtime to avoid disappointment.”

  “This is an only take out spot. There is no inside. You order on the street and you take away. Doubles bara was good with good condiments but channa wasn't up to the standard. Chicken roti was good, filled with chicken, would have liked a bit more potato. Roti is big and filling. There is no atmosphere. Service was good. Still a Cash only place. Very inconvenient.”
