About Mr Falafel

Mr Falafel is a Palestinian falafel restaurant in New Shepherds Bush Market, London, serving a 39-item vegan menu from a small market space. Falafel wraps come in pita and in several sizes, with the Deluxe Falafel sitting alongside Super King and super deluxe versions. Customer Review Summary

The Deluxe falafel wrap is the draw reviewers raise most, with one diner also recalling the super deluxe loaded with all the toppings. Diners describe falafel that is crispy outside and soft inside, fresh, juicy, and consistently good over years of visits, served in big wraps with a ton of filling. Close behind is the salad box or bowl, praised for fried eggplant, spicy potatoes, fried cauliflower, pickles, and creamy hummus with pita. Several call the staff welcoming and kind, and one says service stays outstanding even when the place is busy. The recurring trade-off is the space. One reviewer says it could do with interior design and nicer seating, and another calls it mostly a takeout place with only a few tables, so that reviewer says not to expect restaurant seating. Reviewers also describe staff going out of their way, remaking a Palestinian combo in a bigger bowl for a customer with a broken clavicle, and sending off late arrivals with a few fresh falafels as the shop closed early for Ramadan.

“I just had a Palestinian combo, they made it differently for me and into a bigger bowl so I could eat better (my clavicle is broken so I don’t have a lot of movement). The food tasted amazing and was completely different to other foods I’ve had before. I would definitely come again. Super hearty and the atmosphere was lovely. Ahmed was a great character, friendly and understanding to my situation. Don’t miss out!!”

“Amazing food, so many falafel options. I ordered the super deluxe with all the toppings and I still think about it. What an amazing wrap. The place could do with some interior design, and nicer seating? Go here for the falafel and the wraps, but don't expect restaurant seating!”

“These falafel wraps are absolutely delicious - this is my first time trying them and they were amazing. The falafel balls are super crispy and melt in your mouth. There's a ton of filling inside the wrap for great value. The salad bowl was also really good, with fried eggplant which is my favorite - it was so flavorful. The hummus was delicious! It's creamy and paired perfectly with the pita bread. One of the best value lunches around! This place is definitely one I'll keep coming back to, highly recommended”

“Mr Falafel is a fantastic spot for anyone who loves fresh and flavorful Middle Eastern food. The falafel is perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, bursting with delicious herbs and spices. Every bite is full of authentic taste, and the sauces and sides complement the dishes beautifully. The staff are friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Service is quick and efficient, making it easy to grab a meal whether you’re dining in or taking away. Overall, Mr Falafel offers delicious food, great service, and excellent value. It’s definitely a place I would recommend to anyone looking for tasty and satisfying Middle Eastern cuisine.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mr Falafel is a small, very authentic little spot that honestly deserves all the love it gets. I’ve tried falafel in many places and even in 2 different countries, but theirs is truly special — incredibly tasty, fresh, and full of flavour. Today I stopped by after a very long and exhausting couple of work days and running around the city all morning, completely starving. As always, the food didn’t disappoint. I even ended up calling home to ask what to bring back, and of course the answer was the Deluxe falafel — our favourite! The portions are huge (seriously, one Super King can last me most of the day), and the quality for around £9 is amazing. What makes this place stand out even more is the people. The staff are hardworking, kind, and always welcoming. Every time I go there, I leave feeling better than when I walked in. A true local gem — authentic, delicious, and made with care. Highly recommended!”
