  “We ordered the Pistachio Dreamcake Butterscotch pancake, ‘Meat feast’ 15” pancakes (minus the chilli), and ‘Banana, Nuts & Chocolate Sauce’ 15” pancakes. Everything was so delicious, and the drinks tasted freshly made. It all came in under 15 minutes, which was great because we were in a rush. The service was very quick and friendly, and Ionut, especially, had a warm, welcoming and funny attitude!”

  “My Old Dutch Pancake is a superb spot for brunch, but I recommend making a reservation! We had a party of 5 and were seated in the lower level of the restaurant, which is pretty spacious. Their menu is very curated and each dish has unique aspects: I decided to go with the waffle with the berries, which was absolutely delicious. It’s even better with ice cream! The pancakes are very large so I’d recommend splitting among multiple people. It’s definitely very sweet so balance it out with some of the savory items, like the fries!”

  “My old Dutch pancake house is located in a good place. We found it by looking in internet. First time being in London and wishing a good breakfast place this restaurant is the one. If you like pancake 😄. We did order pancake not knowing how big it is. It was kind of nice surprise 😅. We loved it. Thank you for your friendly service in your busy time. We will come back 😃”

  “Savoury pancakes??? I never had one before visiting this restaurant, and I have to say I was very, very impressed. The pancake was cooked to perfection, and the meat was cooked well (the chicken was not dry at all). So tasty and highly recommend it! I forgot the name of the pancake I had but it’s the one with the mix of various meats (and mushrooms). On Mondays, they do a £7.50 deal for most pancakes!”

  “The original "My Old Dutch" pancake house was established in 1958. Since then, it has been providing pancake lovers a cornucopia of both savory and sweet pancakes. Not only that, but they also serve salads, traditional Dutch starters, and desserts too. My family and I tried the Hot Dutch classic savory pancakes, the Compote of Berries classic sweet pancakes, and the Strawberries & Cream Poffertjes. The Strawberries & Cream Poffertjes are exactly as it is, poffertjes with sliced strawberries and cream. The Compote of Berries classic sweet pancakes was heavier than we thought, but that was to be expected with all the berries. The best one was definitely the Hot Dutch classic savoury pancakes. The double fried cheese base, pepperoni, chorizo, and chillies made it like a thinly sliced pizza made just for breakfast!”

  “I went midweek and thought the experience was slightly underwhelming and not really worth the money. Although the crepe was nice, I wasn’t as good as I imagined. The toppings were overpriced and the atmosphere wasn’t as fun and lively as I thought. Staff were nice but I needed to ask 3 times before getting any water. I would say the crepes were good and portions were large but I have had better.”

  “If you like pancakes this place is absolute must. Do your homework though, if you wait till you get there to look at the menu you'll not know what to choose, so many lovely options. Service always really friendly too.”

  “We visited My Old Dutch for brunch, and while the setting was nice, the overall experience was quite a mixed bag. The Food The food was strictly "okay." While the portions are generous, the quality control was lacking—one of our savoury pancakes was significantly burnt on the bottom, which really spoiled the flavor. For a place specializing in pancakes, you’d expect better consistency. The Service & Timing This was the most disappointing part. The service was completely inattentive. After taking our initial order, the staff disappeared. There were no check-backs, and we spent a good portion of our meal trying to catch someone's eye. We eventually had to look around and raise our voices just to get any attention. To make matters worse, we actually had to cancel our dessert order because they took so long to bring it out. After waiting an age, we simply lost our appetite and decided to leave. The Atmosphere On a positive note, the atmosphere was actually quite good. It has that classic pancake house charm and a lively energy, but the poor service and long waits really dampened the mood.”

  “Really nice experience with good food and friendly service. The menu is also decent with lots of options, including both savoury and sweet options. The monday madness deal for cheap pancakes was also great. Finally the chilli fries were a fantastic side. Review based on a lunchtime visit on a Monday.”
