Customer Review Summary
Diners most often praise the barbecue meats, with beef and lamb singled out as tasty and the sweet marinade on the beef BBQ called out by one reviewer. Another describes the meat as fresh and perfectly seasoned. Close behind is the starter and lunch menu, where the kimchi jeon is called fantastic, and pa jeon, bibimbap, Korean fried chicken and yuk gae jang also draw praise. Several reviewers say the lunch is reasonably priced, and one enjoyed the terrace. Servers come up repeatedly for explaining the menu and making recommendations. The complaints are less uniform. One couple reports waiting 15 minutes to be served while later parties were attended to, and says the grill was never changed while a neighbouring table's was. They found the food overpriced for the quantity. Others find the bibimbap portions small, the chicken fried noodles ordinary, and the rice cake and service in need of improvement. One lunch visitor found the room quiet. In one account, a server texted on her phone to communicate with a deaf group of ten and recommended dishes, and the group returned several days later.

“The food was really tasty - particularly the lamb and beef. But the service is what really stood out. Our server Zuzi was incredibly attentive, offered really helpful suggestions and just made the overall experience extra special.”

“Had lunch on their terrace. Went for lunch special for under £10. Value for money is fantastic. Actually the setting on that little square is beautiful. Very relaxed and not far away from the frantic crowds at TCR. Recommend this place.”

“I have a group 10 included children. Servers Melissa is kind and patient with us because we are deaf. She use the phone texting for communication with us and thankfully everything go smoothly from the beginner to the end. Melissa has been a recommendation us for foods and it is delicious! We were happy to go back some days. Thanks to Melissa.”

“My husband and I felt very unwelcome and neglected at this establishment. It was our first time at this restaurant (and last) and from the beginning it took 15 minutes after we were sat down to get serviced. We witnessed nearby parties that were sat after us get serviced promptly. When we were finally serviced the server felt very unwelcoming. We chose the custom set package and when we finally got our food. The server(s) did not engage. They did not even change the grill (and yes they changed the nearby tables grill). We experienced poor service and overpriced food that did not match the quantity given. Do not come here. Especially if it’s your first trip to London.”

“We had an absolutely fantastic experience at this Korean barbecue restaurant last night. It was our first time trying Korean BBQ in London, and it completely exceeded our expectations. The food was excellent, and the quality of the meats was outstanding — perfectly seasoned, incredibly fresh, and cooked to perfection. Every bite was a treat, and our friends loved it just as much as we did. A special mention has to go to Chloe, our host, who truly made the evening even more memorable. She was warm, attentive, and so knowledgeable, making sure everything ran smoothly and that we had the best possible experience. If you do visit, please say hi to Chloe from us — she will absolutely take care of you and do an amazing job. Highly recommend this place for a fun, delicious, and memorable dining experience. We’ll definitely be back! 🔥🥩✨”
