About Oshpaz Dumplings
Oshpaz Dumplings is an Uzbek restaurant in London, run as a dumpling stall from Kitchen 7 at a market. Manty are the main item, served in portions of three pieces, with spicy beef, halal chicken and vegan fillings to choose from. The beef comes with sour cream, and each order arrives with shredded carrot and chilli oil or a spicy sauce on the side. The stall is open daily. A queue and a short wait for each batch of dumplings are common, and seating at the market is limited.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers return most to the spicy beef and chicken dumplings, praising full flavour, juicy or well-seasoned meat, and the sour cream, carrot and chilli oil served alongside. One reviewer compares the beef to a cross between a pierogi and a gyoza, and another calls the spicy sauce awesome. The vegan manty draws a more mixed response, described as mild with little heat, and the skin falling off after the first bite. Price is the most repeated complaint, with several calling three pieces on the pricier side or a tad dear. Waits split opinion: one reviewer got served in minutes, while others found service slow and the staff inattentive to the queue until a new batch was ready. Seating is limited, though the market atmosphere earns praise. Several mention wanting more than their portion, and one says they could have eaten ten.

“Delightful! I only ordered a 3-piece beef option but they were delicious. It felt like a nice cross between a pierogi and a gyoza, just different. I am looking forward to visiting their main restaurant with family but this was a nice snack for a single.”

“Food was good; ordered 3 spicy vegan manty. It was mild in flavor, not much heat at all, and the skin fell off after the first bite. I would describe the flavor as onions that have been sweated until sweet, mixed with softened cabbage and bulked out with the filling. Enjoyable however, may come again if the craving ever occurs.”

“The beef dumplings were pretty good. The meat was coarsely chopped and the spices were nice. The waiting time was more than I expected though and the staff were not as attentive to the queue until their new batch was ready. Anyhow, the food was good so I recommend this place”

“They tasted really good. Only had to wait 3 minutes. The meat was full of flavour and the dumpling was full of meat. Carrot side was delicious too and the sour cream paired perfectly.”

“Fresh, tasty and not too long of a wait! I got the Chicken Dumplings, served with sour cream, shredded carrot and chilli oil and enjoyed them. A lovely introduction to Uzbek food. However, with so many options at somewhere like Covent Garden, having now tried it, I wouldn’t see myself ever gravitating towards them again, so for that reason I have rated it a 4 as opposed to a 5.”
