About atis Covent Garden

atis Covent Garden is a health food restaurant at 90 Long Acre in London, open daily for lunch and dinner. Salad bowls are built at a counter, where diners pick their ingredients from the options listed on the glass, and in-store screens take the orders. The Green Goddess bowl can be ordered with chicken, and tofu or chicken can be added to a bowl as an extra. Dressing choices include ponzu and a light option. The drinks menu covers shakes and smoothies, including cocoa and blueberry. The branch is large, with a long table set with utensils and taps for topping up a water bottle. Seating inside is limited, and the space fills up at busy times.

Customer Review Summary

Reviewers most often single out the Green Goddess bowl with chicken, one calling themselves forever in love with it, while others praise the fresh ingredients, huge portions and the option to build their own bowl. A cocoa shake and a blueberry smoothie also earn praise. Several describe friendly, helpful staff and a very clean branch, with water taps and ordering screens, though others rate the service as mid or lacking even when it was not busy. Pricing is the most repeated complaint, with salads called overpriced, extra tofu seen as pricey, and extra charges noted for dining in. One reviewer says a kiosk ordering fault left paying customers waiting half an hour before staff checked. Another found the seating far too small, with people wandering with trays and a tofu bowl gone cold by the time they sat. A third found the light ponzu dressing too salty to finish. Several suggest ordering in advance because the branch gets very busy.

“Overpriced salad only worth the money if the system works. When their in-store ordering system had a slight technical issue no one bothered to check so all the customers who had paid just ended up waiting for half an hour for a salad. It just never occurred to any of them it was unusual for no in-store kiosk ordering system coming through for half an hour. They waited until customers started to complain.”

“First time visiting atis at Covent Garden and was excited to see if it lived up to it's hype. Lots of choice & I had already decided to go for the Green Goddess bowl with chicken, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Reasonably priced too. Just the service left very little to be desired & it wasn't even busy when I visited. Hmm, at least I've been now, not necessarily in a hurry to visit again.”

“Got cocoa flavour shake from this branch, from all drinks so far that was the best one: full of flavour, yummy, thick and dominance of cocoa makes it an interesting choice. Service was great too, arrived few minutes later and guy working there told me he's preparing my drink now. Handed with smile, good engagement. Branch is very big, few screens to order, long table with utensils and taps with water too if you want to top up your bottle. Very clean, they even got their own merch. Few tables outside.”

“Preface: Not a salad lover (would even say I’m a salad hater but I do love a Farmer J so I thought I’d give atis a try) I made my own bowl and the servers didn’t introduce me on how to make your bowl. I wish they labeled each option with a tag right in front of the tray, instead of a list of options on the glass. The service was mid. The price was good, my bowl was only £7 as I didn’t add any protein, seeing my bowl already had chickpeas and mixed beans. But the worst thing is the dressing. I chose the ponzu dressing and choose the “light” dressing option and it was so salty I couldn’t finish my salad. Wouldn’t come again and would not recommend”
