About Mr Shawarma
Mr Shawarma is a shawarma restaurant in London, set in a food court at 62 Kensington High St alongside several other restaurants and stands. The kitchen serves several styles of shawarma, and homemade karak tea comes with them as the drink to pair. The falafel wrap can take halloumi and fries as additions, and wraps are served with fries and a choice of sauces, garlic sauce among them. Dynamite chicken is the bite-sized option for those who want something other than a wrap. All the food is halal, which makes the menu straightforward for diners who eat only halal. The counter offers samples before you order, so you can try a style first. The restaurant is open daily.

Customer Review Summary
Dynamite chicken bites and chicken shawarma draw the most praise at this food court stall, with reviewers describing moist meat, a crisp edge on the wrap, and a garlic sauce they call yummy. Close behind are the fries, the mixed shawarma, and shrimp, while several point out that everything is halal and that portions feel generous for the price. Staff come up repeatedly as friendly, and one reviewer says they handed out samples before ordering. Orders are described as arriving quickly, though one reviewer waited around fifteen minutes. The food court setting, with many other stands and decorative lights, gets a favourable mention too. Not everyone was convinced. One reviewer found the falafel wrap with added halloumi flavourless and a bit dry, though the fries were good. Another called the sauce very sour, said the sandwich tasted nothing like authentic shawarma, and felt the cost was too high with no drink included. That reviewer suggested a pizza place elsewhere in the same food court instead.

“10/10 shwarma, defo best in burton. Meats moist and the garlic sauce is peng. The crisp on the shwarma also adds to the flavor. Customer service is great too.”

“Food was great tasting and filled me up. The atmosphere was very nice with many other stands in a dimly lit area with decorations and lights. Food was quick to come. I would definitely eat here again.”

“Mixed shwarma with dynamite chicken bites. Incredible taste.”

“The sauce was very sour, and the sandwich tasted nothing like authentic shawarma. The quality was extremely low and the food was very unpleasant to eat. I was charged £17.98 for this, and it didn’t even include a drink. For that price, I felt completely ripped off. Overall, it was a bad experience and absolutely not worth the money. There’s a much better pizza place in the same food court, which I’d suggest instead.”
