  “The chicken tastes great, but the service seems inconsistent between customers. For the same product, some customers are given a larger paper bag on request, making the food easier to carry, while others are refused and told that only a small paper bag is available. It would be better if the same service were provided consistently to all customers.”

  “Service was great. For my liking the chicken was a bit under seasoned. I asked for extra seasoning after getting my order and the staff happily added more. That was still too little for me😂. I’d give Mongo a try next time probs”

  “Loved this place and everything it has to offer. The menu is huge, making it incredibly difficult to choose just one or two items. In the end, we went for the Sichuan pepper fried chicken and the crispy surimi sticks. Both were absolutely delicious. It was my first time trying fried surimi sticks, and they ended up being a really pleasant surprise. One of the highlights is that you can choose from more than ten different seasoning powders, all of which are packed with flavour and allow you to customize your food to your taste. What stood out to me the most, however, was the staff. Despite the shop being extremely busy and crowded, everyone working there was friendly, patient, and welcoming.”

  “The food was absolutely amazing probably one of the best fried chicken I’ve had lots of variation in seasoning options and the food was halal allowing Muslims to eat here as well and the staff are very friendly and polite. Overall I would highly recommend this place.”

  “My go to place everytime I visit china town. I don’t know what magic is used to make this chicken and seasoning because it’s so addictive. It’s so tender juicy and just WOW. There’s always ques and crowd in this place so you have to be patient for the taste. Definitely recommend this place besides having any other fast food chicken like kfc, McDonalds.”

  “Extremely busy with a bustling atmosphere, however the queue moved quick and despite there being no room to barely stand, I got my order in about 5 minutes. I ordered the Taiwanese popcorn chicken with garlic flavouring and it was incredible! Boiling hot, crispy at hell, flavoursome as hell. Thought it would be a tourist trap as we saw through tiktok, but it is indeed worth the hype.”

  “We’ve walked this a number of times over the past couple of years when we visit, this time around, we decided to have a try. We went for the fried chicken skin. It is something different and to be fair, it was actually alright. It could have been fried a little bit longer it crispier, but you cant have everything. The seasoning that they had on the side, we thought we had used a lot, but it turns out that we didnt really use enough! Its a tad on the expensive side for fried chicken skin, think it was £7.50, but its there to draw the crowds. It was busy when we went and the queue never really went down whilst we were there. At least we can now say we have tried friend chicken skin!”

  “Finally tried the viral chicken popcorn from Ji Chicken and it genuinely lives up to the hype! The chicken was super crispy on the outside and juicy inside, cooked to perfection with that addictively crunchy texture. They’ve got loads of seasoning options to choose from, I went for the plum one and it was just right. The shop also serves loads of other chicken items and seafood along with wide variety of milk-teas and drinks, but I only tried the popcorn chicken this time. The place is quite small and always busy (which says a lot about how popular it is), so be ready to wait a little. The portion size is small to decent for £7, and yes, a bit pricey, but honestly the flavour, crunch, and freshness make it worth it. Definitely a must-try if you’re visiting Chinatown! I’m absolutely going back to try more next time!”
