About Eggslut Canary Wharf
Eggslut Canary Wharf is a breakfast restaurant in London at 25 North Colonnade, inside the Cargo Market Hall food hall on a corner near Cabot Place shopping centre. The brand began in Los Angeles in 2011 and reached the UK in 2019. This branch serves egg dishes all day, so the menu is not limited to the morning. The bacon, egg and cheese sandwich comes in a brioche bun with chipotle ketchup. Truffle hash browns are a side, served as 6 pieces, and fresh squeezed orange juice is the drink on the menu. The branch has small signage.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the hash browns, praised for their crispiness and called the best one diner has ever had, though one finds the truffle flavour limited and another notes the portion comes in six pieces, a lot for one person. Close behind is the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich, described as great and one of the best breakfast sandwiches in London, with fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked eggs. The fresh squeezed orange juice also earns praise. Service and the lovely, chilled atmosphere come up repeatedly, along with how easy it is to get a table, and the location inside a food hall with small signage makes it a little hard to find. The main complaints are about value and the sandwich itself. One reviewer found the breakfast very expensive compared with similar London meals, and another says the sandwich holds only one fried egg and the fillings ran out halfway, leaving a ketchup bap. One diner felt the pork romesco could have had more flavour.

“Always a great experience at Eggslut. The food is consistently spot on, but what really stands out is the service. There’s one girl in particular who always seems to be smiling and genuinely happy to help. She creates such a positive atmosphere and makes you feel welcome every time you come in. Little things like that make a big difference. Great food, great service and always a pleasure to visit 🙂”

“One of the best breakfast sandwiches in London. Fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked eggs, and amazing flavour. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and quick service. The Canary Wharf branch is excellent. Will definitely return. 🍳👌”

“Hashbrown - recommended! Limited truffle flavour but the crispiness is a hit Bacon cheese egg sandwich - feels so light, absolutely no weight in hand given such a big brioche bun. There is only one fried egg in the sandwich, making the whole thing essentially an upgraded bacon bap. The fillings just ran out half way, left you with a ketchup bap🙂”

“The burger was nice in all with the truffle hash browns. I had the pork romesco and I think the meat could have had more flavours. But it was still enjoyable. The hashbrown comes in 6 pieces, which is a lot if you get it solo.”

“First time trying eggslut as I've seen it in YouTube and loads of hype on YouTube and online. I had the bacon, egg and cheese with chipotle ketchup, a side of truffle hashbrowns and a fresh squeezed orange juice. Everything was very fresh and delicious. My only issue really was the price. £18.50 for what I got was very very expensive. I've had similar breakfasts in London that were near to, or as good, for between £12-13. I'll definitely be back, just not often due to the prices.”
