  “I recently visited Ottoman Doner in Poplar and was really impressed with the food. The doner is always fresh, well-prepared, and tastes fantastic. One thing I like is that you can choose between rice or chips with your meal, which gives you some flexibility depending on what you're in the mood for. The sauces are amazing and add plenty of flavour to the meal. The food feels fresh, healthy, and is clearly made with quality ingredients. Every bite was enjoyable, and it's easy to see why this place has built a good reputation. The only slight downside is that the prices are a little on the expensive side compared to some other local doner shops. Overall, Ottoman Doner is an excellent choice if you're looking for fresh, healthy, and delicious food on the go. Highly recommended!”

  “Its annoying cos everytime i try order it picks this location. I preffer the whitechapel one 100% more. This 1 is deaadd nothing like the whitechapel one. Ive ordered many times from here thinking it was just a one off bad quality but its everytime. I dont know what it is but its not nice like whitechapel. The doner taste different and chips too. Not feeling it”

  “An absolute disappointment. I remember when TOD first opened. Huge portions, high quality lamb and chicken doner. They competed with The German Doner kebab and beat them in every aspect...fast forward a few years, they're a mere shell of their former selves, and I can't believe I'm saying this...but the german doner is better (and I don't even like them). The portions are tiny now. The hefty box you previously got has been shrunk drastically, thus resulting in barely any meat. The prices have also risen. I understand inflation has hurt businesses and customers alike, but why didn't you keep the portions the same instead of decreasing the portion size AND increasing the price. Maybe stop spending all that extra money on your fancy black paper bags & cutlery? They've also changed their fries. Its basically mechanically processed potato mash fries instead of proper chips. The doner is no longe juicy..dry and stale now.”

  “Next time you feel like literally throwing loads of sauce over the meat(could not identify the meat&bulgur anymore) Looked like food was thrown in that box and then 2L of sauce to drawn everything. Wth people?! I don’t care you have loads of orders, if you’re not able to maintain quality while busy, then you get 1 star. Byeeee”

  “I got really worse experience. I have try couple of time from other branches. They never done like them. I order chicken donner with chips. And I got chips with few pieces of chicken. Even you can’t complain to the staff. Staff behaviour very tough and customer service was very poor. When my food ready he called me like I am child and looking for my toy. In the same time he serve to other customers on table. But why he wouldn’t me? I never Recommended this branch at all any one.”

  “I ordered doner with chips, trilece and burger meal. Disappointed with the doner meat and chips as it didn't have any salad, the trilece was really nice and tasty. Beef burger was ok felt like a meatball in a burger bun.”

  “bought this as a takeout and it was perfect. i ordered the meat doner with chips and requested for the salad to be put in a separate container as I didn’t want it to get soggy. It definitely hit the spot!! the portion size was very good, could be shared with 2 people. I was so full I even had leftovers. The sauce on the doner was very generous which was such a relief!! 10/10 would highly recommend :)”

  “Update to below review 16JUN22 II came in and ordered. Quick service and the gentleman behind the counter gave my daughter a free Caprisun - very appreciated in this heat today, 29 degrees. Still very clean. Still great service. The place has no quit. Still great service. Still great food. Still do great portions. The canned drinks could be cheaper though, but I am a customer till the rest starts lacking. below is my first review, so go there and keep this place going. .............. This place is great. Their portions scream out - we want return custom. Their service screams out - we want return custom. Their food quality screams out, you guessed it - we want return custom. Guess what guys, you got return custom. I love their Donner, my kids loves their double cheeseburgers and mrs loves the tower burger. A simple menu - see pictures. They care for their delivery customers as well. I saw this where they ask each driver if they have a bag so our food is not ruined during delivery. All I can say is if you go there be prepared to wait, there's loads of people and they order loads of food haha. To the Owner/s Your place is GREAT.”

  “First time ordering from here through uber eats. My major concern was with how the food was packaged!! Unacceptable, the bag wasnt even sealed the chips bag was open in the unsealed bag. Now this bag was delivered to me how unhygienic and unsafe was that. Keeping in mind the virus is still around this is not an acceptable way to package and take precautions for your customers safety. The chips was too salty too much seasoning on it we couldn't even eat it. The chicken nuggets had a fish taste to it. The burger was ok wasn't all that, it was quite dry and we recieved the food cold so wasn't happy with that. I could taste more bun then the chicken. Also the sauce, I always enjoy the orange chilli sauce from take out shops but for some reason their sauce was all dried up n not even runny?? Considering the portion the price was overrated. Honestly I'm so disappointed, I was recommended by a couple of friends and wasn't happy with my first experience at all.”
