About The Eadn London - Bar & Lounge

The Eadn London - Bar & Lounge is a restaurant and cocktail lounge in Canning Town, at 24 Stephenson St, where a live saxophonist and drummer perform alongside a dancer. The music turns a dinner or drinks visit into a night out with entertainment. Shisha is available for guests who want to stay at the table. The kitchen runs starters such as sweet chili wings, with lamb cutlets for a main and apple crumble on the dessert menu. At the bar, pornstar martinis sit among the cocktails, and bottomless Prosecco is on offer. Reservations require a deposit, and the guest list is in use for entry. Doormen check ID against an age policy of 18+ or 21+.

Customer Review Summary

Diners most often praise the apple crumble, with one calling it the best in a while, though another found it cold after a long wait. Close behind are the lamb cutlets and lamb chops, the wings, and strong cocktails, including pornstar martinis. Reviewers also mention the saxophonist and drummer, and several describe friendly, welcoming staff who made birthdays special. Service is uneven. One party who were the only guests had to keep asking for refills of bottomless Prosecco, and one reviewer says a manager checking in fixed a slow start. Another found vegan options very limited. One reviewer was overcharged when a deposit was not deducted from the bill. One 18-year-old from Leeds says a guest list booking ended at the door, where bouncers cited a 21 plus rule the website did not mention. One reviewer reports food poisoning for two people after a visit, and also describes the music as painfully loud. A birthday party of six was turned away at the door, while another large last-minute party had orders arrive fast and correct every time.

“Came yesterday all the way from leeds for my birthday. Was coming with my family and friend. There was 6 of us in total. 4 girls and 2 guys. Messaged on insta to book a table, they replied back an hour later asking for how many people, time and location. Then took what two hours to message back to say they are fully booked. They did offer us to be on the guest list so i thought we’ll just get on that it’s okay. Gave the names of the people that were going to be attending also told them that a few are coming before last entry at 1:30 then a few will be making it just before 2 and which they were okay with. Cool we got there before 1:30, just for the lady outside to be so rude to my face. Looking me up and down. I told her we are on the guest list gave her my name then ended up telling me guys shouldn’t be on the guest list . My cousins decided they’ll go home and just let the girls have a good time. So they thought. She told me to give my id to the bouncer so I did just for him to say “absolutely not your not coming in your too young” I’m 18. He went to go get another bouncer for that bouncer to tell me that it’s packed, we’re not allowed in and it’s 21 plus. Had a look on the website and it says 18+ can’t see anything saying 21 +. It’s funny how they saw how old I was and all of a sudden it’s packed and it’s 21 plus. If it is 21 plus that’s perfectly fine but make people aware. Came all the way from leeds to go there as I’d heard a lot of good things. I will definitely not be coming back 😂 defo wouldn’t get anything like that in leeds I can say for sure.”

“All I can say is that I won't go back. Too expensive, chairs are burnt , VERY limited options for vegans and just not my kind of place. Staff was nice though. Very disappointed on my first visit. I would have gone into details but I do have a heart and it would not look good on the managers behalf.”

“Had an amazing experience at The Eadn London - Bar & Lounge. The atmosphere was beautiful, the music and vibes were perfect, and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff(Mohamed) were welcoming and attentive all night, making the whole experience even better. The shisha was smooth, and the overall service was top tier. Definitely one of the best lounge spots in London for a night out with friends or a special occasion. Highly recommend — Mohamed”

“Where to even begin with this place... So the building itself is great. Well decorated. But I'm afraid thats where the compliments end. The waiter didnt know how to pour a beer from a glass, so covered my phone in flat Heineken. The music was so loud im fairly certain I have a concussion from my brain vibrating. Ever seen a chip dance before? I have now! But to top it all off, both my wife and I were hit by the worst food poisoning in our lives by the time we got home. Avoid.”

“First time in Spokane, researched for a while for a spot and selected this place. So glad I did - great food, great employees and service. Excited for this to be my go to spot every time I come back to Spokane.”
