Customer Review Summary

Patatas bravas come up most often, praised by several diners alongside grilled octopus, which is close behind and described as packed with flavour. Also named are the tortilla de patatas, jamón croquetas, calamares, an aubergine dish, and the Basque cheesecake to finish. Reviewers call the food fresh and delicious, with the sauces singled out, and describe friendly, attentive staff, with several crediting individual servers for looking after their table all evening. The main complaint is the vegetarian offering. One reviewer found only a handful of vegetarian tapas, and desserts such as the dark chocolate cigar, churros and chocolate truffles were not vegetarian, which the waitress could not explain. One wanted more cocktail variety, and the tortilla was called slightly small. One reviewer suggests booking ahead for weekends, and another notes same-night availability is not guaranteed. One diner recalls a waitress quietly moving them to another table after they were seated beside a work colleague.

“Such a great place. That is hidden in the back of Kings Cross. The best sort is you feel like you’re not in the city and the staff are amazing especially Helder. He looked after us all night and made sure the whole night was special. Especially as it was my birthday. You have to visit if you’re in the area.”

“Impeccable service and excellent food! I was greeted with a warm smile from the moment I arrived, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout. I had the patatas bravas and grilled octopus, and both were absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, the flavours were spot on, and everything was beautifully prepared. A fantastic experience overall! I can’t recommend this place enough. I’ll definitely be coming back to try their new menu!”

“This is my favourite spot to catch up with friends. The food is great, fresh and reasonably priced, drinks are okay too but would love to see a bit more variety on cocktails! The service is also fabulous, special mention to Venti. He is amazing, and we always return here thanks to his hospitality! Please, give this man a promotion or raise, his service really is outstanding.”
