“The waitresses, two sisters were abrupt and autocratic. “Hazel” apologised but remained intransigent. I asked if I could have a table outdoors and despite no one being there was ushered to a table convenient for the waitress just in case more people came. No one did at the time. The service was slow. One of the waiters who was more pleasant disappeared quickly for his smoke across the street. The Shashuka consisted of tinned tomatoes, two eggs and a sprinkle of feta cheese. The hash Brown was expensive for two at £3.50. A supermarket sells these processed foods at 7 for £2.50. I guess I had expected home made. The bread was crispy and fresh. The food was nothing to complain about but nothing to rave about. £19.50 for food only seems pricey given one could have better quality and price at a 5* hotel.”

“Great breakfast for both flavour and portion to get you all day going, either a tourist or a local this gem is just a 5 min walk from King’s Cross station and a 15 mins walk from the British museum. Portions can be shared for two people and the variety on the menu makes sure there’s a bit for everyone. The place is on the smaller side so there might be a queue after 8:30 am.”

“Such a brilliant find. My brother said about eating here and we were greeted by very friendly staff Service was very efficient. The lady gave us menus and there was so much choice. I opted for the club sandwich, absolutely delicious. Everyone else agreed their food was also delicious too! I'd definitely come back here. Brilliant place and very reasonable prices also”

“The first thing I ate when I reached London. I wanted to try my first English Breakfast and I was not disappointed. Everything was straight from the grill and piping hot. My absolute favourites were the sausage and hashbrowns. The service staff were very friendly and patient to this foreigner.”
