Customer Review Summary
Fresh sushi is what most reviewers come for, and the all-you-can-eat option draws repeated praise for its variety and value. Eel rolls, sashimi and a sushi salad get specific mentions, while several describe the tempura as light and crunchy. Others single out the pork katsu curry don, the ox tongue and a lychee bacon roll. Staff are consistently called friendly and attentive, and the restaurant is described as spacious with a relaxed atmosphere and a lovely garden. Reviewers are less convinced by some of the cooked food. One found a couple of cooked dishes fairly average next to the sushi, and another said the noodles fall short of Japanese style and the soup needs work. Ordering through a QR code felt impersonal and unclear at first to one diner, and one server could not say what was in the mixed tempura. One reviewer also noted that taking leftovers home meant paying for a takeaway container, which they wished they had known beforehand.

“We were here a few days ago and had a very enjoyable experience overall. The restaurant was spacious, clean and nicely presented, and we were seated fairly quickly despite it being reasonably busy. We chose the all-you-can-eat menu, which offered a good variety of sushi and cooked dishes. Most of the sushi tasted fresh and was well presented, and the portions arrived promptly without leaving us waiting too long between orders. The staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything. The only slight downside was having to order everything through the QR code, which felt a little impersonal and was not immediately clear at first. A couple of the cooked dishes were also fairly average compared with the sushi. Overall, though, it was good value for money and we left satisfied. We would happily return.”

“Amazing authentic flavors, cozy vibes and friendly staff. The pork Katsu Curry don is a standout, and the prices with 40% discount are very good for the quality.”

“The food was great as was the atmosphere. The service staf was friendly and attentive, however the gentleman who served us must have been reasonably new and untrained as he didn't know what one of the menu items were and said he didn't know what tempura was in the mixed tempura as he hasn't had it before but made no attempt to ask and find out for us what was in the mixed tempura selection. Apart from that the service was and food was great. However if you want to take some of your food home you need to pay £1 for a takeaway container which I didn't mind doing but it would be good to know beforehand for budgeting purposes.”

“A spacious restaurant that serves some authentic Japanese food. The sushi salad is very nice. But noodles are not comparable to original Japanese style. Staff are friendly and helpful. I suggest that they improve the soup of noodles or create their own noodles recipe.”
