Customer Review Summary

The recurring complaint is ordering. Reviewers could not find the "add item" button for an extra tempura shrimp, and another could not work out how to order the tempura items on the counter. One diner says the bubble tea is a bit expensive, and another says the place was busy and noisy at lunchtime. One reviewer who got the curry tofu udon only because the first choice was unavailable notes that staff cleared up around them before they finished, as closing time neared. One regular describes underdone noodles being replaced straight away, with staff explaining the water bath temperature had been too low.

“Travelling from Scotland I stopped by here and got a Katsu Curry with Rice and Karaage to take with me to the hotel I was staying at and the food had loads of flavour! Karaage was light a crispy whole packing flavour and the katsu curry was sweet, spicy which was perfect! The staff were lovely too! I recommend this place 💜”

“Really enjoyed our lunch here. We got two bowls of delicious laksa for under £30. The broth was really rich and tasty and the noodles had just the right amount of springy bite to them. We were tempted by the tempura items on the counter too, but couldn’t work out how to order them. No matter, we were very full anyway. We wish there was a branch closer to home! Thanks also to the staff for their quick and friendly service.”

“Great to see some many vegan options well labelled. Especially with the takeaway option in the station. Had the curry tofu udon which was rather delicious, only had it as my first choice wasn’t available. Service was quick but they were closing soon so cleared everything up before I finished.”

“I'm a weekly regular at this restaurant since the opening. For a fast food place it's outstanding.. Any of the guys have been working there since day one, which also says a lot. As for the food I have my faves, the tonkotsu ramen if I'm around at lunchtime and at breakfast I will have the wakame udon broth with a chicken katsu. I also like the spicy tuna rice triangle thighs as a snack. Their miso chili is to die for too! The quality is consistent and excellent in my opinion. But most of all I'm so impressed with the service! Once (early in the morning) the noodles were a bit uncooked, not only they replaced them straight away but the young man came to say thanking for raising the issue the temp on the water bath was too low. Also they pack me take away noodles if they are not available ready packed if I ask, fast and with a smile. I also witnessed them taking core temperatures of the fried items and logging them, and the hand hygiene is on point every time (I'm a nurse, so I pay attention). Soon I'll try the bao buns too, thank you KM for cheering me up in my commutes!”

“I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant! The udon was absolutely delicious—authentic, rich, and full of flavor. What made it even better was the incredible staff. We were traveling with a lot of heavy luggage, and the staff noticed right away. They immediately stepped in to help us handle our bags with big smiles on their faces. Their kindness and warmth really made our day. Great food combined with top-notch service. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!”
