Quick info
About Nazuki Garden
Nazuki Garden is a Japanese restaurant at 161 Whitfield St in London, near Warren Street station and a short walk from UCL. The menu is extensive, covering sushi, donburi, wagyu and hot pots, so a table can order across several styles of Japanese cooking. Ramen sits alongside them, and the Sakana udon comes in a fish broth in original and white miso versions. For raw dishes, the kitchen makes sashimi and rolls, including a Jumbo Dragon Roll with grilled eel. A lunch menu and a set menu are both offered. The dining room runs on table service.

Customer Review Summary
Tempura prawns come up most often, described as perfectly done and tasty, with ramen close behind: a light yet flavourful beef ramen broth and a comforting pork ramen. Diners also name the sushi platter, fresh sashimi, a Jumbo Dragon Roll with grilled eel, a beef Sukiyaki hotpot, fish soup udon with white miso, foie gras, beef rice, salmon tataki and plum wine. One reviewer describes lunch as busy with students and office workers, and a couple praise the set menus for variety and value. Service is called friendly, attentive without being pushy, and helpful. Complaints are small. One reviewer, the only table finished, had to go up and ask to pay after a long wait, and another found a pot of green tea for two expensive. One family recalls a waitress who was sweet to their baby and made them feel welcomed.

“Went around 3.30pm for a late lunch. We were the only people in, until a family came in. The food was amazing. The tempura prawns were perfectly done and the sushi platter was very well prepared. The atmosphere was good given so few people in. Music was good, the environment was on brand. The service was good. Very attentive before ordering, however was left waiting about 20 minutes tompay the bill. I had to go up and ask, which given we were the only table that had finished was a little bit too long to be waiting. Overall a great experience and would go again.”

“The staff here were so lovely and attentive without being pushy. The menu has pretty much everything you could want from a Japanese restaurant, and all of the food we tried was amazing, including the Sukiyaki hotpot (we had beef). Will definitely come back as it really wasn't very expensive for everything we had!”

“The fish soup broth with Udon, Sakana, was really delicious. We ordered both the original and one with white miso. We ordered a pot of green tea for 2. The pot of tea was £8 and quite expensive. Helpful staffs, toilet available Nearest tube station- Warren Street”
