Customer Review Summary
Reviewers return most for the baguette, calling it among the best they have had, with a Parisian reviewer saying it tastes French and rivals bread outside France. Close behind are the pastries and coffee, with a latte, beignets and strawberry tartlets singled out, and one reviewer calling the cookie top notch. In the evening, the wine bar draws praise for bruschetta, ricotta with walnut and honey on crostini, and tomato pizzettes, with the staff described as knowledgeable about red wine. Breakfast of sourdough, scrambled eggs and bacon also gets a mention. Staff are repeatedly called kind, friendly and fast, and one reviewer says they were never rushed during a long stay. The main complaints are practical: chairs and tables are small with little room to spread out, and one reviewer notes a no laptop rule that makes working over coffee tricky. Several reviewers describe visiting by day for coffee and returning in the evening for wine and snacks.

“Nice ambience.. literally half cafe- half wine-bar, especially the front section..happy medium and perfect for an early evening pre-dinner friend catch-up. Warm & efficient service by Lorenzo & Erin (thankyou!:)). Really loved what we ordered for our snacking! Delicious ricotta-walnut-honey with crostini and tomato pizzettes (light and flaky!) and melt-in-your-mouth strawberry tartlets!!”

“Fresh flavourful food. Helpful friendly staff. Country kitchen vibes. Chairs and tables are small so not much room to spread out.”

“This was my first time visiting and I will be a regular whenever I’m in London. This place is a FIND!! AMAZING pastries so delicious and priced so reasonably there are two of these and we visited both. The one on the kings road is very nicely laid out and a warm relief from the cold outside, the only thing it’s is a no laptop place which is fine it’s their rules but can be tricky if you want a coffee and do a little work. The one on st martins lane is also a wine bar and I will definitely be trying that in the evening next time but again great coffee and pastries well priced nice atmosphere. Nothing bad to say So came back and this time I wanted to try it as a wine bar. It was incredible best place to start your evening, catch up with friends or just people watch .. the bruschetta is sublime pair that with a good red(and the guys here are very knowledgeable) and you’ve got the makings of a perfect evening”
