Customer Review Summary

Reviewers most often single out the smoothie, called delicious by two visitors, with the lemon and blueberry cake, the chai tea and the cabinet food close behind. The spot by the bridge earns praise for its views, and one tourist found it the most affordable cafe they had come across, though others call everything overpriced for the location. Drinks draw the main complaints: a matcha that tasted like plain milk, watery drinks, a latte that was not great and a dry muffin. One reviewer says staff refused to replace a coffee made with the wrong milk despite a lactose intolerance, so they had to buy a second. Others describe staff as indifferent or stern, and one calls the interior dirty. It is described as crowded, though one early Sunday visitor found it empty, and one notes there is no toilet. One reviewer says staff helped find medical assistance after a fall nearby, then recognised them on their return and asked how things went.

“The "matcha" tastes like straight milk, no matcha at all. Actually, it doesn't even taste like milk because it's so watery. They can afford to serve bad food because they're in such a high traffic area and don't rely on repeat customers. Great air conditioning though. Quite refreshing after a hot day.”

“I bought a coffee for £4.10 The milk was wrong. I asked them to replace it and they refused. Due to my lactose intolerance. I spent over £25 on the bill and they would not replace one coffee! I had to buy a new one. So a coffee cost me £8”

“Because it's located between Big Ben and the London Eye, it's usually very crowded. The staff inside are very indifferent, and the interior is dirty. I think a nicer seating arrangement could be implemented.”
