Customer Review Summary
Coffee is the draw at St. Clare, with reviewers calling it good, smooth, and "exceptionally good" and one self-described coffee snob rating it really good. Close behind is the relaxed, calm setting, which several describe as suited to remote working, getting a little work done, or a casual meeting, with a seat by the window and the foyer mentioned. Staff are described as friendly, warm, and polite without being over the top. Food gets shorter mentions: a tasty lunch, nibbles, and pizza. One reviewer praised a DJ on a Wednesday night and the music. The one criticism is that a hot chocolate was good but could have been hotter, with the reviewer wishing it had come in something that holds heat better. Several say they plan to return, and one wants to see the place in the evening.

“They had a DJ on a Wednesday night and the music was really good. I know clubs in London 10 times more expensive that don't have such good music. Also the place is really cosy and the design is very is beautiful. The stuff was also very friendly and helpful. Next time I go and grab something to eat and come back with an update. Definitely a place to visit if you want to grab a few drinks.”

“Stopped by St Clare Coffee & Bar earlier today and honestly it was one of those totally unplanned stops. I was walking around kinda tired, kinda bored, and just needed somewhere to chill for a bit, so I ducked in without thinking too much. Ended up ordering just a coffee because I didn’t really feel like eating anything, and it actually turned out way better than I expected. Proper smooth, not burnt, not watery — just a decent cup that woke me up without punching me in the face. The whole vibe inside was super relaxed too. Not noisy, not awkwardly quiet, just that nice hum of people talking and doing their own thing. I grabbed a seat near the window and just kinda zoned out for a bit, watching people walk past and taking my sweet time with the drink. Staff were chilled as well — not doing that over-the-top “HELLOOOO!!!” stuff, just normal friendly, which I personally prefer. It’s definitely one of those places where you can sit for a bit without feeling rushed or judged, which is rare in London sometimes. Honestly, nothing crazy happened, but the coffee was good, the vibe was calm, and it ended up being a nice little break in my day. I’d go back for sure.”

“5’s across the board! Had a lovely time grabbing a few drinks and nibbles here. The atmosphere and decor go hand in hand; beautiful settings for a quick catch up or even pre-drinks on a date night. Service was quick and polite.”
