About Pepperon Cafe
Dogs are welcome at Pepperon Cafe, a breakfast and brunch spot on Lancaster Road in Notting Hill, where a resident dog shares the seating area with guests. Books, flowers, frames and mirrors fill the interior. The kitchen runs a menu of 31 dishes built around morning and midday eating, with a Full English Breakfast among them, and fresh juices are ordered alongside. Coffee is served through the day. The cafe opens daily, and at weekends there is usually some waiting time before being seated.

Customer Review Summary
Breakfast is the clear draw, with the full English singled out for a plate several call huge and charming, though one diner found it oily to their taste. Close behind, the coffee and the fresh juices earn repeat praise, one group returning two days running to work through different breakfasts. Several describe the room warmly, pointing to the books, flowers, frames and mirrors, the spacious inside seating, and the resident dog, which more than one reviewer credits as a highlight in itself. Staff are widely described as friendly and accommodating, including one account of an allergy taken seriously and halal and non halal options offered, though a dissenting reviewer found them not very friendly and the cafe average. The most common gripe is cost, with even happy reviewers calling it a little dear and one noting tea is not included. One party wanted two seated coffees and was told to order and pay at the counter despite empty tables, and another reports the toilet seat missing. A few mention waiting for a table at weekends.

“4of us had breakfast and juice on 2 successive days as enjoyed it so much on our first day. Tried a variety of different breakfasts which were each fabulous and the juices were just what we needed. Would highly recommend as excellent quality food.”

“Reading the 1 star reviews didn’t reflect my experience. I had a great meal with my parents and thought the staff were nothing but great and accommodating, with big smiles on their faces. I want to thank Jo for being amazing and taking my Allergy seriously, they offer halal and non halal options so next time will try the halal breakfast. The vibe was great and couldn’t fault the experience, I would say the prices are a little dear but I guess that is the normal price of brunch cafes in that part of London so have no issues paying.”

“Very nice cafe, food was good a little overpriced for what we had. I give it a five star for their dog.💞 …”

“The place itself is quite nice, but unfortunately the policy is not particularly customer-friendly. We wanted to have two seated coffees. 30–40% of the venue was empty, but we were asked to pay at the counter as if we were ordering …”

“Very average cafe. Food is quite expensive, staff is not very friendly. It seems like a place where they want to earn fast money. Toilet is also missing the toilet seat.”
