About Java Whiskers Cat Café White City
Java Whiskers Cat Café White City is a cat cafe in London, on Ariel Way, where every cat is available for adoption. Cat yoga sessions run alongside a separate cat lounge and kitten lounge, and the kitten lounge is not always open. Visits are timed sessions, and the team explains everything before guests go in. Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the cats themselves, describing them as happy, relaxed and clearly well looked after, with the kitten lounge drawing particular praise for playful kittens that are sleepy or chaotic depending on the visit. The cat lounge is described as calmer, though one reviewer calls the ginger cat playful yet savage, warning that the love bites are real. Close behind, the staff are called friendly and welcoming, and one reviewer enjoyed the cat yoga session. Cakes, biscuits, fruit tea and coffee get good marks, though two reviewers call the prices on the high side. The main caveat is crowding: one reviewer describes large pre-teen birthday groups running around and guests carrying cats into the hallway, leaving few cats in the main space, and suggests adult-only hours. Another notes the cats began falling asleep toward the end of an afternoon session, and suggests booking before 4pm. Several reviewers say they plan to return, and one mentions the toilets were very clean.

“I absolutely loved my experience here. The cats were all so warm and fluffy you could tell they were well taken care of. They didn’t mind being pet at all whilst awake of course, one that’s mostly grey but kind of white in the cat lounge was very playful and cute. Food wasn’t overpriced and it was great. I recommend to everyone. I came around 3pm however towards the very end of the session cats were falling asleep so I’d say book before 4pm. That didn’t change anything, I had the most wonderful time ever this is my second cat cafe I’ve been to and I have a feeling it’ll stay my favourite! Toilets were very clean too. Cannot wait to come back but for the kitten lounge 🤍”

“Lovely cat cafe where the cats are available for adoption. We went in the kitten room and they were all so sweet! It really was lovely being able to play with the kittens and I hope they all go to amazing homes! We just had a drink - I had a fruit tea and my friend had a coffee and they were both good! It’s a little on the pricey side but I can understand why. Would visit again.”

“Being a seasoned visitor to the Marylebone branch, I thought I would try the White City one. Turned up on the spur of the moment having found myself in the area and the very helpful staff managed to fit me in without issue. Went in the main cat section as the kitten part wasn't open on the day we visited. Large airy room with nice seating and some lovely friendly feline clientele. Nice selection of drinks and light snacks available too. Will definitely visit again in the future.”

“Absolutely loved visiting here. It was my first time at a cat cafe and it was so sweet and just a lovely environment. The cats all seemed happy and well cared for with lots of toys and places to play, hide, sleep and socialise. Will definitely be coming back!”

“Had a great time today at the Java whiskers cat cafe. The staff were very friendly, and the overall environment was just great. Since I visited both the cat and kitten lounge, I can safely say that the kitten lounge is much more chaotic. The kittens ran around everywhere, but they were all adorable and very playful. The cat lounge was much calmer, however the cats there were also very playful. The food was also delicious, despite being quite expensive. It is quite obvious from the photos which my favourite kitten was.”
