Customer Review Summary

Espresso and coffee draw the most praise, with one reviewer calling the espresso one of the better ones in London, another calling an oat flat white spot on, and others singling out the takeaway coffees. Close behind are the pizzas, including a margarita shared with a toddler, and hearty salads, with a chicken and avocado salad with extra hummus named as a go-to. Parents mention a kids menu with pasta bolognese, and the ice creams, lollies and outside space also come up. Several describe friendly staff and portions that suit the price. The complaints centre on the manager and costs. One salad arrived with half toasted bread instead of croutons, one reviewer called an ice lolly overpriced and said the manager was disrespectful when told, and another says workers were dismissive over a request for tap water. A further reviewer describes the manager yelling at a mother for leaving food out while she attended her daughter.

“The prices are too much they are over charging! One ice lolly cost £3.90 it’s really expensive they should only charge £2. I’ve told the manager and he was really horrible and told me to come and work for them. He was disrespectful and awful.”

“The atmosphere and people working here are really nice, super friendly and comfortable. Come here after a nice day in the park and enjoy some fresh and tasty food. The espresso is also really good quality. The portion sizes are really good for the price as well. Overall, very recommended.”

“I asked for tap water from any paper or plastic cup, and and was disrespected and looked down upon by all 3 workers and felt pretty uncomfortable. Don't waste your time dealing with such people. A relative also asked if they have a bathroom and the worker was straight up disrespectful 'what do you want me to do, wash your face', which was just an unnecessary comment. (The events stated were not due to personal historical problems with the workers, I barely know them and didn't interact with them prior to the incidents) Do not be surprised if they do anything dirty or shady when ordering from them.”

“Stopped here again today after being pulled away from WFH admin by all the coffee recommendations flying around locally — and really glad I did. I’m in Paddington Rec quite a bit walking the dog and have been here a few times before, including sharing a margarita pizza with my 2-year-old — always a great little spot to pause. Had an oat flat white today which was spot on, and it’s a really relaxed place to sit outside. The pizzas are actually very good as well (and well priced too). A proper local spot.”
