Customer Review Summary

Smashed burgers draw the most praise, with diners naming the Double Smashed Cheese, a chilli smash with jalapeños and bacon, and a cheese smash, and describing the beef as juicy and melt-in-the-mouth. Fries come close behind. Rosemary fries and halloumi fries are mentioned repeatedly, one reviewer calling the halloumi fries the star of the dinner and another praising the cheese sauce. Several describe friendly, fast service, and one likes being able to choose how the meat is cooked. The complaints are scattered but specific. One lunch party found the chips old, hard to chew and damaged, and the table small and sticky. Another found the buns dry and cold and the burgers on the small side, and a third wanted a better sear on the patties. One reviewer thought a burger and lemonade was overpriced for a solid but unremarkable burger, and non-native English speakers wished staff had been more patient taking their order. One diner recalls waiters inviting their group to move to a booth once it was free.

“Great burgers and awesome service! The beef is super juicy and the rosemary fries are amazing. Friendly staff and delicious food—highly recommended”
  • QUESNOT MICKAEL
“We had a really good meal here! We ordered a few burgers, including the Honest Mighties and the Double Smashed Cheese, and the food was very enjoyable—definitely always better than McDonald's! I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 for two small reasons. First, the meat could have used a little bit more time on the iron grill to get a better sear. Second, as non-native speakers, we made a real effort to speak English, and it would be great if the staff could be a bit more patient and careful to pay close attention when taking our order. Overall, it was a good experience and we enjoyed the food!”

“A really great spot—not too expensive, but not exactly cheap either; it was reasonably priced. The burgers were delicious—better than those at other places—and the service was excellent and very fast. It’s the best burger joint I’ve tried and perfect for tourists like me visiting London.”
  • MARIE L
“We came for lunch to get a bite before an event. We ordered the Smash California and Tribute One. Both of the burgers came with chips. To our surprise, the chips were old, hard to chew, and very damaged. We felt so disappointed; we spent almost 50 pounds on average for at-best food and on a small and sticky table. We felt like the quality aspect missed the mark.”
  • Heart Lion
“It’s the best experience I had in Honest Burgers, their fries never fail me. Their staffs are really friend, the waiters invited us to move in booth after when it was available. The Philip Cheese sauce is over the top.”
