About Bleecker Burger Soho
Bleecker Burger Soho is a hamburger restaurant in London, open daily at 33 Old Compton St. The space is tiny, with two large tables and a few window seats, so diners share the room with one another. The menu is limited and built around burgers, including a cheeseburger with a thin patty served medium-rare and a blue cheese burger. Angry House fries sit alongside them as the side. Food can take a little longer to arrive at busy times.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the thin, juicy cheeseburger, describing it as well cooked and full of flavour, with one diner praising the aged beef. The Angry House fries get a mention for their spice, and several reviewers call the staff friendly and welcoming. Others describe a relaxed but buzzing Soho atmosphere, and one says the dog was given a patty. The criticisms are real, though. One reviewer found the blue cheese burger bland, with a flat, soggy bun and soft, greasy fries, while another called the cheeseburger salty and boring, with no sauce and a wait for the food. A third found the thin patty overpriced, noting the cheeseburger had no lettuce or tomato. Several mention the tight space, with just two large tables and three window seats, and one wanted more staff clearing tables at busy times. One reviewer was planning a second burger two hours later before heading to the airport.

“totally overpriced How was the burger? It was very delicious. The medium-rare beef patty was tender and juicy, and the lightly seared bun was incredibly fragrant. However, I don't think it's worth traveling all that way and spending £11 just for a medium-rare thin burger patty, especially since the "cheeseburger" really only contained cheese and a burger patty—no lettuce or tomato. In short, if you're looking to experience what's touted as "Britain's best" burger or a medium-rare burger patty, you can give it a try, but don't have high expectations. Just think of it as a slightly better burger than those in the East London burger shop. Hope my next time experience ordering milkshake would be better”

“The best burger I’ve ever had! Cooked to perfection and incredibly juicy. I was going to get another one just two hours later, but I ran out of time in London and had to head back to the airport. The Angry House fries were also delicious, with just the right amount of spice. The staff was also very kind.”

“Amazing experience! The service was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The burger was delicious and definitely lives up to the hype. It was incredible delicious, perfectly cooked, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Every bite was excellent. On top of that, the prices are very fair for the quality you get. Great food, great service, and great value. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic burger :)”

“I came here after seeing a post on Instagram from a Brazilian influencer who claimed this was the second-best burger in the world. That definitely got me curious — I thought, "If it's the second-best burger in the world and the best in the UK, I have to try it." I was spending the day in London on Saturday, so I decided to stop by Bleecker Burger and see for myself. It turns out he was absolutely right. The burger is excellent — thin, light, and incredibly flavorful. One person can easily finish a cheeseburger without feeling overly full or uncomfortable afterward. The restaurant is spotless and very well organized. The staff are constantly making sure everything stays clean and tidy, which I really appreciated. The temperature inside was comfortable, and the atmosphere is lovely — it has that classic Soho London vibe. The staff were also incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made me feel very comfortable throughout my visit. I will definitely be coming back”

“We had high expectations since this is the world’s 2nd best burger. We ordered a cheeseburger and blue burger with fries. Overall the cheeseburger was good, bun was soft, patty was well seasoned and juicy but it was just salty. If I have a word to describe the burger, it would be “boring”. There was no sauce or other flavour profile. Blue cheese sauce was tad bit too salty for me but I enjoyed the flavour from the blue cheese. Fries were good. We waited almost 15-20 minutes for our food, which I expected it to be quicker. There were limited dining spaces, just 2 large tables and 3 window seats. Often needing to cramp with others.”
