  “I visited GBK on the 20th and had a really great experience. The food was fresh and delicious, and the burger was cooked perfectly. The staff were friendly, welcoming and provided excellent service throughout. Really enjoyed my visit and would definitely recommend GBK!”

  “My experience with Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK) is as follows: Delicious truffle Mac and cheese. A burger what was good to eat yet less "gourmet" and smaller than I remember. The Oreo milkshake was very tasty just as expected. When the waiter came to collect our empty trays, I remember he put his fingers in one of my friends' water glasses to move it to make space for the tray collection. It wasn't really an issue but it did make me feel a little dispoiled to be honest. The affirmationed friend, is a keen music listener and maker and took offence with one of the songs that was playing in the background. He mentioned that the song ended with a 'fade-out' which is what he usually refers to as the 'coward's way out'. Not a strong finish. Overall, I loved my time here.”

  “The staff here helped me out when I came in looking for WiFi. I'd left my phone on a bus and was trying to track it. The supervisor helped me out immediately. They made sure I was connected, got me a drink on the house and assisted me in tracing my phone. They promised to keep calling the number and in the end I caught up and got my phone back. Thank you GBK for hiring such wonderful people. The burgers are great too (I usually go for the classic).”

  “I visited around 17:30 on a Saturday evening and had no trouble getting a table for myself. I had the smashed blue cheese burger with some chunky chips and a dip. I thought the food was delicious and it arrived quickly with friendly service. Being able to order from my phone was useful too.”

  “Fast service and good comfort food that hits the spot. Vegetarian and vegan options are available and you can customise any burger however you like. The biscoff milkshake was the highlight for me - one of the best milkshakes I’ve had!”

  “This is the second time I’ve ordered via Deliveroo and the burger arrived with no sauce at all. It ends up being too dry to enjoy. It’s very annoying and honestly unacceptable. I hope the restaurant pays more attention to the order details next time.”

  “Last time when I went to this place was wow feeling, and now feel the wow gone and just another burger place. Fresh homemade lemonade was not freshly squeezed. The lemon juice tasted as old, may be a day or two days, can feel the bitter off taste. The chips were soft and soggy mixed with crispy bits. The burger patty was well cooked. Bap was ok but small size. The onion ring were good thou.”

  “Easy 5*. This place ticks every single box. Nice ambience and decor. Tasty food, especially the truffle fries. Fair price. Friendly service. One minor detail that I'll ignore this time around, please fix and improve your loo. It's also part of the customer experience. Don't take it for granted! Good job.”

  “Tried out the lunch deal and ordered the chicken burger and skinny fries. Chicken was actually a decent chunk and moist, but the batter was a let down, it was too thick. Fries were nice and crispy. I also had the chicken wings and vegan milkshake. Chicken wings was moist and batter was crunchy but found bits of the batter chewy and hard… Loved the vegan milkshake, creamy and you wouldn’t of thought it was vegan. Service was friendly and efficient.”

  “The place had plenty of seats available and it felt open and spacious. The food was good and arrived quickly, quicker than the drinks. There are options for non-meat eaters and they were tasty. I tried the peanut satay sauce but didn’t continue with it. I think it was just peanut butter in a pot. The toilets were not good, quite disgusting overall. I asked for hand sanitiser after washing my hands and they very politely obliged and gave me some which was good. Overall we would come again but maybe at a lunchtime to see if it is busier.”
