  “Decent pub by the Surrey Quays shopping centre. It's very busy here especially on Millwall footy days. Loads of tables, good outdoor space and all the usual good prices and beer selection.”

  “On a busy day, this lively pub has managed to minimise waiting and created a peaceful atmosphere despite small staff numbers and large customer numbers! I have had drinks and food delivered promptly and without delay. Even though I know they are neck deep in glasses that need washing and are exhausted!”

  “I had a fantastic experience at The Surrey Docks - JD Wetherspoon in Canada Water. The atmosphere is always warm, welcoming, and relaxed, making it a perfect place to meet friends or simply unwind after a long day. The food is consistently delicious, served quickly, and offers excellent value for money. The drinks selection is impressive, with plenty of choices at very reasonable prices. What really stands out is the friendly and hardworking staff, who always make customers feel welcome with great service and a smile. The pub is clean, spacious, and has a great local community feel. Its location near Surrey Quays and Canada Water also makes it incredibly convenient. If you're looking for quality food, affordable drinks, and a great atmosphere, this is definitely one of the best Wetherspoon pubs in South East London. Highly recommended! ⭐🍻”

  “Came here for dinner with the mrs and sat near the back looking for a quiet table. 3 staff members were sat there evidently on a break talking about their friend who had an upcoming court case for a rape charge and has apparently “dun nuffin’ wrong”. Very off putting. The girl who served the food was blank and emotionless but worse was another waitress who later came and pulled one of our tables away reached over out plates to take the menu without saying a word or even acknowledging us. When i looked at her puzzled she just awkwardly starred me out. Lovely food and good value as Spoons often is but the staff were the worst ive ever encountered and we left straight after the meal.”

  “Very busy pub, reasonable prices, pleasant staff and quick service. The Shiraz was very pleasant to drink. Unfortunately the steak pie was missing the steak and the mash had been flattened on the plate with a fork (maybe to heat it quickly) and one part was on the hard side as if burnt. I did eat it as I was hungry.”

  “Good Wetherspoon's pub a couple of minutes walk from Surrey Quays Station. Six cask ales on handpump when I visited including a porter. Lots of outdoor seating. Not too busy when I visited at around 2pm on Christmas Day. Friendly and helpful staff.”

  “Fairly standard Wetherspoons. Chip count with my burger not fantastic. Also slight confusion with the staff who instructed us that something was unacceptable before deciding it was fine. I understand they have policies around things and need to enforce them but felt the situation could've been dealt with in a slightly less confrontational manner. I appreciated them exercising flexibility on this ultimately and would return to the Surrey Docks.The carpet was nice and the pub was very clean and in good order.”

  “Tell you what, folks. This place is bloody lovely. You are first greeted with a spacious outdoor smoking area with multiple benches and ash trays. This leads into the general area when my mates and I sat down for probably the best spoons food ever. We all love spoons food, but this food was BUSSIN!!! We came about midday and it was super quiet. Folks, I’d recommend the brunch: English breakfast for girls like me that can’t eat a lot. The staff were also very lovely and the toilets were in tip top shape.”

  “A nice front garden soaking up the atmosphere and watching the local community. I had nachos and a very good American pale ale for less than £10. Great prices for London where you can expect to pay a tenner for nachos and £6 per pint.”
