About Marquis Of Wellington Bermondsey
Marquis Of Wellington Bermondsey is a pub on Druid St in London, with a Sunday programme that pairs a chess club in the afternoon with a quiz night in the evening. The kitchen serves pizza, and the choice includes sweet pizzas. At the bar, Guinness is on tap alongside cask ales, a wider beer selection and non-alcoholic beer options. Screens inside and outside show football and golf. The pub opens at lunch as well as in the evening, and it runs on a walk-in basis. It sits near the beer mile breweries.

“Quite a nice pub in itself, unfortunately the pizza was burnt and a member of staff tried to move us from a table reserved from 7pm at 6.45, and quite aggressively, which was uncalled for. So only one visit and ended up with a 2 star but room for improvement.”

“I used to enjoy coming in for a pint on Sunday afternoons but the pub has been taken over by a chess club. They sit at all the best tables in the sun without buying drinks and the few who do buy a drink will get one then sit at the table for hours. I think its great you're supporting a local club but don't push out your paying customers”

“Great place to watch the football. Plenty of tvs inside and outside. Comfortable seating and good service. Didn’t try the food but pizzas were being served. I tried the non alcohol options for beer and they had a good variety to choose from!”

“First time popped in for the quiz night on a Sunday night which is brilliant fun. Guy, the quiz master, makes it a very entertaining evening. It is a welcoming and friendly environment. All the staff are friendly and pizza looked yummy but I didn't try it. Go and try, it is a great evening.”
