About The Bedford Tavern
The Bedford Tavern is an independent pub on Seven Sisters Road in London, between Finsbury Park and Holloway, at number 160. The kitchen is a residency run by Lenny's Apizza, which turns out pizza including a potato and bacon version. Burgers with veggie options come from the kitchen too, and a pop-up kitchen occasionally brings Brazilian food. Behind the bar, the taps carry Staropramen and Leffe alongside a wider beer selection. Football is shown on screens, and board games are on hand for tables that want something else to do. Dogs are welcome. The menu also lists truffle cheese fries.

Customer Review Summary
Most reviewers come for the Lenny's Apizza pizzas, described as very big and super tasty, with one praising a potato and bacon version. Close behind are the burgers, called consistently tasty, with veggie options and truffle cheese fries, and a Brazilian pop-up kitchen that one reviewer calls a must try. The beer selection draws repeated praise, with Staropramen, Leffe and Madri on tap, and an owner described as knowledgeable about craft beer. Staff come up often as friendly and chatty, and one reviewer noticed a barman clearing empties, wiping tables and pushing chairs in as soon as a group left. Some call it a good spot for football, and others mention board games and outside seating. The one recurring complaint is the stairs to the toilet, which two reviewers call treacherous and another says are hard to manage with big feet, though one reviewer also finds the toilets very clean.

“A good place to sit and watch the world go by. Not your regular London booster but it has Staropramen on draft, that's a winner in my book. Mind the stairs going to the toilet, if you have big feet, it ain't easy to negotiate😂🤣, bar staff excellent, it's the little things, when a table leaves, the guy was right there picking up the empties and cleaning and wiping the table and pushing the chairs in. He was a credit to the place, sadly I didn't catch his name.”
