About North Nineteen
North Nineteen is a family-run pub in London at 194 Sussex Way, with a landlord and landlady at the helm. The front bar has a solid wood servery, seating and a snug at the back, while the back bar holds a pool table and a dartboard. Steaks lead the food, and the bar pours real ales, whiskies, Guinness, keg favourites and beers and ciders from local London breweries. Open mic nights run on Tuesdays, and comedy nights take place monthly, giving the pub a live programme alongside its regular trade. Televisions show football and other games, and a rooftop terrace gives the pub extra room for watching sport. The doors are open daily.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often describe a friendly, family-run backstreet local with a real local vibe, and the landlord and landlady are repeatedly praised as welcoming. Open mic on Tuesdays is a regular draw, with one reviewer calling the bands surprisingly good, and comedy nights also get a mention. Close behind are the terrace and veranda, which reviewers like for watching sports such as the world cup, along with the pool table, darts and screens for games. Ales are described as kept well, and one reviewer's Martina Lager from a North London brewer was a great pint. One notes the pub is dog-friendly, and another finds the staff friendly and accommodating even to people who rarely visit. The main complaint comes from one reviewer who, during a football match, saw seven or more women queuing for a single ladies' cubicle. Men offered to share the men's toilets, and the landlord refused. Another reviewer hired the pub for a gender reveal, and a staff member helped decorate it.

“(staff in general were very kind) Full pub and 7+ ladies waiting for the toilets. As responsible and reasonable adults do, men offer for some women to use the cubicle in the mens toilet. Landlord refuses. Ridiculous that you would make a fuss about women in the mens toilet when only providing a single cubicle for the ladies in the first place during the football. Get your priorities in order.”
