  “Was treated to a Lord’s tour which included lunch at the Lord’s tavern. Don’t be fooled by the dated exterior inside was was nice and welcoming. Our reserved table was ready and waiting. Limited choice of meals but what we had was exceptional. I had cod and chips in brother in law had the burger. The chips were something special… I’ve never eaten chips served in this manner before. Top marks for the chef Probably the best pub grub I’ve eaten in long while. It was so nice we had coffee and dessert.”

  “After a memorable tour of lord went inti this modern pub and restaurants on Saturday 20th of June 2026. It is practically next door to Lords. we never made a booking and when we went there were only few people. we choose to seat inside as it was very warm day. Ordered ½ pint Lords tavern beer, light and nice, 1 Pimm’s pint, 2 veg burger ,1 kali dhal and 1 skinny fries. It cost us GBP 69.50. we were billed 2 kali dhals instead of 2 veg burger when I told them after checking the invoice he told me that he has told kitchen only 2 burgers ( price is the same for both) and skinny fries were not delivered till we finished our lunch and told him to cancel and give refund which he did. The restaurant and the food is good but very limited choice for vegetarian”

  “Rather modern pub next to the famous cricket ground. All the hand pumps for beer were off on the day I visited so Camden IPA had suffice whereas London Pride was my preference. Limited food menu, but the chicken Caesar salad was excellent. A non cricket playing day so plenty of seats available. Staff were busy with the custom that came in, but remained positive and pleasant.”

  “I was disappointed at this tavern. The two items on the menu that I could eat, I was told they no longer do. Then the kitchen staff were unwilling to make changes to other dishes, or to change the price. So in the end I paid the same price for 5 small pieces of chicken. Sadly I won't be able to eat here again. The waiter was very patient and kind, I really appreciated his help and service.”

  “After taking a memorable guided tour of the Lord's, we opted for lunch at this historic pub, adjoining the famous Grace Gate. While booking our tickets for the Lord's tour, we made reservations for lunch in advance. Perfect setting with a flavor of cricket all around, comfortable seating, offering comfort food, it's a beautiful pub with indoor as well as outdoor seating. There are options available in their fixed lunch menu... from their famous Lod's cheese burger to the traditional fish & chips, with a choice of an Indian platter as well. A glass of wine / soft drinks is included in the fixed menu. Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, the food, and their courteous service. They offer fixed tea and snacks package aas well, as an option, after the tour.”

  “A historic Tavern beside a landmark ground makes it very special. During my tour to the Lords guided tour I also took the onus of reserving a table to have tea just for the experience. As we entered the restaurant and informed our reservation we were directed to our table. We actually moved to coffee and along with bread and butter was served. The breads were freshly baked and was delicious. I would recommend to visit when a match is on motion as it will also allow to get the passion of patrons displayed. A must visit just for the experience. Outside and indoor seating both are available”

  “Very very disappointing Sunday lunch. We ordered a selection of roasts, fish n chips and a few starters, however were left incredibly disappointed. Everything was burnt, see pictures, specially the gnocchi. I couldn't believe you could burn gnocchi until we dined at the establishment. The service was non existent as well. Even though only 3 tables were occupied, food took over 45 mins to arrive. I guess they required more time to burn everything. The only rationale for getting more than one star, was the location. Nice venue by the cricket ground with good background 80s sing along music was their only saving grace After providing feedback to management , it was nonchantly rebuked. Unfortunately pictures don't lie and a plate of charred food is what remains ...”
