About Panoramic 34
On the 34th floor in Liverpool, Panoramic 34 is a modern European restaurant with skyline views from one of the UK's highest dining rooms. Guests check in at a desk in the lobby and take a lift up to the restaurant. Lunch and cocktails are served, and window tables look out over the city. Afternoon tea comes in a luxury version and a champagne version, served with Italian cakes. The cocktail bar will make adjustments to a drink or mix one that is not on the menu. A smart casual dress code applies, which rules out sportswear, caps and scruffy clothes. Reservations are required, and a private dining room is available for groups.

Customer Review Summary
The view across Liverpool is the draw reviewers raise most, with window tables and sunset timing singled out repeatedly, and one guest says the skyline works as well in daylight as after dark. Close behind is the afternoon tea, in luxury and champagne versions, with freshly made Italian cakes, alongside desserts one regular calls phenomenal. Diners also name an aubergine starter, mojitos made with spiced rum and sea salt moretti cocktails, and a bar willing to make drinks that are not on the menu. Staff earn consistent credit for explaining each dish from origin to taste, taking care over allergies, and never rushing a table, including guests who came only for tea. Many were celebrating birthdays or anniversaries, and a few mention the soft lighting and piano music. One reviewer recommends booking, though notes walk-ins are accepted, and calls the dress code relaxed. One regular recalls a Happy Birthday message written on the dessert plate.

“Celebrated my mum's 80th birthday with luxury afternoon tea. Couldn't fault it. Great value. We booked mid-week. Calm and quiet, so restful. Lucky to have a window seat (never a given). Staff attentive, and no rush. It wasn't too busy so fortunate to keep the table a little longer, not rushed at all. Luxury afternoon tea was perfect. Not too filling and I'd definitely book again. My mum loved it. Thank you so much.”

“WOW! A simply amazing experience. You arrive and it is like you are going to a special club. There is a small individual check in desk in the lobby, where we were greeted by a very friendly and professional lady, who welcomed us to Panoramic 34. She guided us into a lift and we whizzed up to the 34th floor. The doors open into a very pretty, botanical lobby area, on exiting the lift you are greeted by another friendly but very professional member of staff who confirmed our reservation and guided us in the bar (we had only booked the bar) and as you turn the corner WOW! You are hit by the most amazing view of Liverpool. We were sat at a small table in the window in soft luxurious seats that you could sit in all night. It felt warm, cosy and relaxed just like a cocktail bar should be. The staff were all very attentive and in true cocktail bar style, you get a menu but they will make adjustments or even cocktails not on the menu for me the sign of a great bar. I could have stared at that view for hours, one of the servers there (I think he might be called Alex) was very friendly and found a great balance of talking to us and leaving us to enjoy the view he really added to the experience and actually settled a discussion about New York taxis as he had lived there for a few years and was a font of knowledge. Nothing was too much trouble. We booked the table for 18:30 and had until 19:45 officially but we were at no point rushed or reminded about our time slot it was a genuinely lovely place to be. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, even if it is not a place you would normally visit, at no point did I feel out of place or uncomfortable. There is a dress code but it is very relaxed for a cocktail bar and smart casual clothes are fine, I wore denim jeans (no rips) and a shirt. They have a no sports wear, caps or scruffy clothes policy and encourage people to dress up if they wish. It is a smart place just not pretentious in any way. We had 2 mojitos (made with spiced rum) and 2 sea salt morettis served ice cold with a chilled glass and the bill was £44 (including the service) which was perfectly acceptable for the fantastic experience we received. We managed to see the sun setting so we got the a great view in daylight and darkness I would highly recommend visiting here if you have not been it is a unique way to see the city. I recommend booking but they do accept walk ins. We will be back.”

“Took my wife here for our 1st wedding anniversary. We were made to feel very welcome. When we explained a couple of allergies, staff were very attentive. Food is exceptional, compliments to the chefs. Atmosphere is amazing with the soft lighting and piano music in the background. Views are beautiful looking across Liverpool. We timed dinner perfectly to watch the sun go down over the city as we enjoyed Panoramic 34.”

“We have been to Panoramic several times over the years, and I believe it is one of the most original and unique places in the city. Every single time we've been there, we've felt special and had a truly great experience. The people who work there are very professional, yet at the same time friendly and very open. We never felt awkward, we were always greeted with a smile and felt well taken care of. We were given a window table that offered breathtaking views. Even when we just wanted to have tea or a drink, we were treated just as well as the guests who ordered much more, so we never felt less important. We went back there many times, sometimes just for tea, sometimes for dessert, though we usually ordered fairly simple food or drinks. As for the desserts, they are phenomenal. Every time, we were completely enchanted by the presentation, the preparation, and the taste. It's truly unique, there's no denying that. Once, we had a wonderful surprise in the form of a 'Happy Birthday' message written on the plate, which was a lovely surprise and very, very, very kind of them to serve such a gorgeous-looking plate! The views are stunning, and every time I'm there, I admire them all over again. I know I'll be back there some time in the future, and I'll feel just as wonderful as always. I can't wait!”
