Customer Review Summary
Praise centers on the salt and pepper box, which one reviewer calls brilliant and very well fried, with one box enough for two and leftovers for breakfast. Close behind are the charsiu fried rice in a big portion, food that arrives hot and ready quickly even on busy evenings, and friendly staff who were happy to serve shortly before closing. The sharpest complaint is the hot and sour soup. Two reviewers describe it as sweet like syrup or sweet and sour sauce, one noting a luminous pink colour and no spice or pepper. A longtime customer who spotted a change of ownership reports warmed up chips, slimy batter under the fish and small, dry salt and pepper sui mai. Others describe chips full of eyes and skin, freezing food with a vile double cheeseburger, and a delivery that arrived dry and warm with the order wrong. One diner questions a charge for gravy on a kids meal that did not match the board. Another reviewer found phoning ahead cheaper than the app, and the chef kept them updated on the order.

“The food is good and well served but the prices on the board don't seem to tally up with what they charge !!! Only when I was home I thought I had been overcharged albeit £1.30 unless that is the price for a bit of gravy poured over kids meal !!! I'll query next visit!!”

“SHOCKING. Been a customer for years and always been our go to Greek chippy. Went last night for the 1st time in a short while and all I can say is we will not be back. All looks the same but a change of ownership has clearly had a negative effect on the quality of food. Chips not fresh as usual and clearly warmed up, the batter on the fish had a layer of slime like batter underneath, peas very sweet. S&P sui mai where small like size of a sprout, overcooked and dry inside. We also got a H&Sour soup which was a luminous pink colour and tasted more like a sweet and sour sauce, not spicy or peppery at all. Unfortunately the lot went in the BIN.”
