  “4 of us had bottomless brunch on Sunday, a great time was had all round. Worked out really good value, decent food, lots of drinks, and great service by Joe who took our orders throughout. Would highly recommend and we will return.”

  “This is my first time writing a review but the service given today by Joe and Nicole was exceptional. From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble. From friendly service to making sure we was ok. We asked to move table and was accommodated without any hesitation or trouble. Would recommend this venue to anyone. What a place to enjoy and watch the British F1. Thank you”

  “We had a bottomless brunch which was bought as a 60th birthday present, food was fab ( Caesar chicken ) and we didn't wait long , cocktails were nice tried a few but stuck to the woo woo ones , Kelly and Luke were so welcoming, friendly and really on point for service with drinks . We didn't know this place existed but it's worth looking for , definitely recommend coming here . Thank you to Kelly and Luke for making our experience a fab and nice time . ( Sorry no pics of food , I forgot cos it looks so delicious )”

  “a lovely, lovely place and atmosphere. lia served me and my boyfriend, and she was incredible. cracking jokes, very attentive to our needs and whenever we needed anything she was there, huge smile on her face and super cheery. she definitely made the experience more elevated and so much friendlier, while also being extremely professional and understanding of our needs. a wonderful time which was made better by the service!”

  “Although this is widely seen as a John mores pub, we do not discriminate, especially since we went drinking with a few of them. All jokes aside it’s a great pub and atmosphere. From the cheap drinks to the bar staff it’s great. Just a shame that Ewan has disgraced the brookhouse and set up camp here, altough bis great presents and pub quizzes rule the pub here, we are sad that he won’t be at the brookhouse later. #viva la Ewan”

  “Came here for a bottomless brunch and it did not disappoint! Curtis was the fella who was serving us and he was great! Our food was lovely and came so fast, and Curtis made sure we never have an empty glass on the table. I hope he gets some recognition for giving his guests a great experience. Thank you so much!”

  “as final year uni students we wanted to have our last goodbye lunch at hope and anchor with good food and drinks as they did in the past, But instead we were left waiting for 30+ minutes over pizza that we had ordered and we were very patient even though the pub wasn’t that busy and only went up once after it had reached up to 25 minutes to ask the staff if there was a problem with the pizza and that if we could just get a refund as we were running late because we didn’t realise it would be over a 30 minutes wait for food, to which they were rude and dismissive. When the pizza FINALLY arrived it was disgusting, cold and grainy and definitely not worth the money i spent and never got back. would you eat this pizza (refer to the picture), that was burnt at the top and wet and slimy at the bottom ?”

  “Came on Derby day without meaning to and had a bottomless brunch. Food was lovely and service by Oliver was excellent. Plenty of cocktails which were strong and tasty. Particularly liked the pina colada and husband was a fan of the espresso martini’s. We would come back. Thank you!”

  “We visited yesterday with a large group for a bottomless brunch. Despite having a large group, the service was really quick and efficient, even when we all ordered different drinks! Both the drinks and the food were all super tasty, with great vegan options too. Jess could not have been more helpful - she made sure that we were all happy and well fed & watered! Luke was also brilliant. They’re both a credit to the team! We will definitely be returning.”
