Customer Review Summary
Yoghurt Chat Bombs are the dish reviewers name most, with two singling them out and one pairing them with Mango Lassis. Close behind, one diner recommends the house lamb curry, and another says a biryani hunt ended here with a meal packed with flavour. The food is called delicious and fabulous, and portions that looked small left one table very full. Staff come up repeatedly as friendly, welcoming and attentive, and the decor with swing seats and a jungle feel is called pretty. The one complaint comes from a lunch visit where the only 0% beer was out of stock with no alternative, and a lamb chop main was unavailable, though that diner still called the food delicious. Another reviewer describes the tiffin presentation as a reminder of an Indian lunchtime.

Every visit is a delight, from sipping on delicious Mango Lassis to enjoying their unforgettable Yoghurt Chat Bombs. The food was absolutely incredible, as always! “7/9/26 - Amazing first visit to Mowgli and what and experience, the service, the food. Everything was just fantastic. Never had so many delicious flavourings of food at once. The staff were really friendly and helpful too. There was one particular wait staff who seemed run off their feet from the Kitchen to the tables so big shout out to them also (short dark hair, slim build)”

“This place was amazing and so pretty ✨️ Lots of choice and advice from the staff about what to choose. The food came out very quickly. When the portions came out we thought they looked small, but they were just right cos we were very full when we'd finished. We tried lots of new things - I can recommend the yogurt chat bombs 😋 Definitely worth a visit ☺️”

“Mowgli is all about how Indians eat at home and on their streets. She was born to feed the raw need Indians have for tiffins full of fresh bright intense flavour. Mowgli is not about the intimate, hushed dining experience. It is about the smash and grab zing of healthy, light, virtuosic herbs and spices. The simple dishes of a Mowgli menu are a million miles away from the curry stereotype. These dishes convey the truth that real Indian food is extremely healthy, often vegan and always packed with fresh flavour.”
