“This was the best Indian food that I have had outside of India. We had the chef's signature lamb curry and a chicken biryani. Both were really delicious. Portion sizes were good. It's a bit more expensive but absolutely worth the extra money and certainly not too pricey. The service was spot on with the servers and kitchen managing a busy lunchtime really well. We saw lots of people having dosas which looked amazing. Would definitely come back.”

“I visited Kayal in Leicester with high expectations, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. The food was average at best and definitely not worth the price. Some dishes lacked flavor and felt inconsistent. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere, but that alone isn’t enough to justify the overall experience. Considering the cost, I expected much better quality and attention to detail. Overall, I wouldn’t rush back, especially when there are many better value options in Leicester”
