About DFC Chicken Grill Leicester
A fried chicken takeaway in Leicester, DFC Chicken Grill Leicester sits at 132 Green Ln Rd. The menu pairs two takes on the wing: tandoori wings for those who want a spiced marinade-style option, and spicy wings for those who want heat. Chicken pieces are served with fries, so a main order comes with its side. The kitchen works to a takeaway format, which suits a quick collection of fried chicken, wings and fries.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers return mainly for inexpensive fried chicken, with the southern fried chicken pieces and spicy wings described as tender and juicy, and the fries as nicely seasoned and crispy. One meal of four chicken pieces, fries, a drink and nine wings is called a bargain, with the reviewer saying KFC would cost double. Close behind, diners mention the tandoori wings, a chicken tikka in naan, a chicken fillet burger and a chicken biryani, and one calls the sauce incredibly tasty. Service draws mixed comments. Some find it quick and consistent, while another calls it average and suggests signs explaining where to wait for food. Other complaints are smaller but specific: food that is good mainly when eaten fresh, a loud room that makes talking hard, and orders that are occasionally messed up. One reviewer who otherwise enjoyed a burger and tikka naan found a couple of the chicken pieces a little burnt.

“Ol’ reliable. For value for money you will struggle to find many better than DFC. The food tastes good, very reasonable prices, service is quick and the staff are really good too. Every time I have been they have been consistent. Some indoor seating available including a toilet.”

“Busy but food is good when eaten fresh. Loud atmosphere so hard to talk and think your thoughts. Occasionally, orders are messed up.”

“The food quality was a major letdown, especially the undercooked chicken and fries. While the prices are cheap, proper food preparation should always be a priority, not an poor quality preparation.”

“the staff are so rude and they discriminate old people that try and go there to eat saying nasty comments such as whys hes back or mocking customers just because they're old and look different thats not our fault? the staff is absolutely horrible making fun of my father just because they dont have a father themselves. this is unacceptable and just rude the staff there and the owner himself have to sort themselves out”

“the food is good but the service is bad the people that work their discriminate old people that come to the shop daily they say stuff like "oh hes back again" I find it very disrespectful because of that my father doesnt dare go back inside the shop because of the nasty comments that have been said about him from the working staff the owner etc”
