Customer Review Summary
Friendly table service is what most reviewers single out, with several describing a waiter or host who made them laugh or stopped for a chat. One waiter warned a family the plates were hot after burning his own hand. Food earns steady praise too: a full English or ciabattas for breakfast, piping hot dinners and a new menu one diner rated highly, though a two for one burger lunch was called nice but nothing special. Overnight guests describe clean rooms and a large soft bed, but one missed air conditioning, another had the room serviced on only three of four nights, and a third had to ask for cereal and pastries by name. Weekend noise divides opinion. One Friday night visitor reports a packed, loud bar, slow service and urine on the toilet floor, while a guest says music stopped at 11 and the rooms were peaceful. On a quiet Monday, a staff member offered one diner's dog a biscuit.

“I visited the narborough arms today with my 2 children and husband for the first time as a back to school gift for them and the food was amazing cooked by Joe and Rich, also our waiter Charlie was amazing the whole time we were there. He burnt his hand while bringing out our food and still made sure to let us know the plates are hot so the children most important don't burn themselves. I would 100% come again and Charlie honestly deserves some sort of praise”

“Decided last minute to get a quick dinner out and it was Monday so pub was quiet found table and ordered food , member of staff offered our dog a biscuit and she engaged in a little conversation about the world cup and how busy pub was when England play. Food arrived quickly and was really good. Same member of staff said goodbye as we were leaving, all in all it was a very pleasant experience. Thanks to Madi for her friendly service.”

“We were served by Charlie who was an excellent waiter made us laugh and actually conversed with us which is always appreciated also made us feel more comfortable with asking for stuff! The food was excellent this is my first time trying the new menu and it’s honestly a 10/10 everything was so good could not recommend more! Thank you Narborough and Charlie”

“Clean and tidy and reasonable prices but obviously, as its a pub, lots of noise until closing time at weekends. The Narborough Arms don't have a 'breakfast bar' so we had to ask for cereals, pastries, fruit etc by name and staff then went to see if they had what we had asked for - not a great experience. We stayed for 4 nights but our room was only properly serviced for 3.”
