About Rodley Barge
Rodley Barge is a pub in Leeds at 184 Town St, with a beer garden out the back that overlooks the canal. The bar pours real ale alongside a selection of other drinks, including cider by the pint, so the garden makes a natural place to sit with a glass. A pub quiz runs on Sunday, which gives groups of friends a set occasion to come together over a round. Dogs are welcome.

Customer Review Summary
The beer garden overlooking the canal is what reviewers mention most, called lovely on a sunny day and just perfect after a canal walk. Drinks come close behind, with a pint of cider and great real ale singled out, and several praise the friendly, welcoming bar staff and a relaxed, cosy, slightly old worldly atmosphere. Food accounts conflict. One diner enjoyed a lasagne and a Cajun halloumi ciabatta, and a family bought burgers and chips in the courtyard while a singer performed. Another reviewer says the pub hasn't served food for years and that the website they checked was out of date. Walkers also mention a Sunday music pub quiz, and one couple has returned several times since the rain first drove them in. The reviewer who arrived expecting food still describes the staff and customers as lovely and friendly, and enjoyed drinks out back by the canal.

“We came down for May bank holiday, the whole family loved it. There was a singer on, out in the court yard, you could also buy burgers and chips. No complaints from any over the food, the singer was great. Picturesque vues out back of the canal.”
