Customer Review Summary
Breakfast and brunch with sea views draw the most praise, with reviewers describing friendly staff, a buzzing atmosphere and food that arrived hot and together even on a busy Sunday. Named favorites include a super food bowl with sticky salmon fillet, a kilo of mussels, the epic brownie, and for one diner the fish and chips. Another diner, who had to order fish and chips to sit at an outside table, said they were nothing like a proper chippy. The main complaints concern value and atmosphere. One parent called the kids menu misleading, with extra charges for a small bottle of apple juice and an ice cream on top of a basic, quite greasy kids meal. Another found the food basic, the service impersonal and the room cluttered. Several mention it being busy and noisy, and one said it feels canteen like. One family of nine who booked ahead had every drink and dish arrive correctly, and another party was warned of a wait that turned out shorter than expected.

“Booked in advance, thank heavens... Mixed family of nine get together, very busy Sunday breakfast/brunch. Drinks orders taken quickly, but not rushed - everything checked, all arrived correctly, hot & together. Same with food order, servers very efficient, friendly & helpful. Nothing too much trouble, the servers helped each other and were aware of any customers needs. Food & drinks great 😃 Very impressed & very smooth - That's the way to do it - Thank you 💯”

“Horrendously over priced for very poor quality food. Purposely misleading kids menu too. It’s not actually £8 for a kids meal as it initially appears on the kids menu. An extra £4 for a small bottle of apple juice and £2.50 extra for an ice cream with very basic (and quite greasy) kids meal. Thank god we only had one child with us… Staff very pleasant but would never come back. Don’t usually write reviews but felt compelled to warn other families.”

“Went here for lunch on a fairly sunny Tuesday afternoon. The set up feels a bit canteen like and the atmosphere was hectic. Very busy tho so we gave it a shot. Our waitress was great and very bubbly. I had a super food bowl with sticky salmon fillet which was fantastic. The flavours and textures were spot on and everything was fresh. Then stepped out of the back door straight on to lancing beach. Highly recommend, will be back to try a roast.”

“We had excellent service from Charlotte throughout our meal. The atmosphere was buzzing and the food delicious, I highly recommend it! The epic brownie really lives up to it's name!”
