Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the river view, from the outside tables and from the terrace where one describes the evening sun over the Thames. Close behind are friendly, professional staff and a retirement party that was organised well and served on time. Diners name Alpine Lager and Samuel Smith's stout as enjoyed, and one praises the selection of drinks, though one group said nobody liked their beers. One chicken schnitzel arrived with batter that was too thick and failed to adhere to the meat. Service draws a sharper split in a few accounts. One group was asked to leave at 10:35 pm before closing time, and a broken outside table spilled their drinks twice. A solo visitor was rebuked for eating her own sandwich at a corner table and told outside food was not allowed inside, outside or anywhere on the premises.

“Recently had a small retirement party booked at The Gazebo and it was amazing! The food was great and served right on time. The staff were so helpful, and Rob the manager was amazing at his job and organised everything in a perfect way. Everyone had a great time, and the view of the river was absolutely stunning! Thank you”

“Lovely pub we decided to sit inside on this occasion and I went for the calamari but sadly by the time I got home I had an upset stomach I hadn't eaten anything else so could only put it down to this and it was served extremely quickly almost too quick. But I erall a pleasant pub in a lovely setting right on the river”

“Food rating is based on the beers. Great spot right by the river and beer prices are as expected for the area. The only gripe is no one enjoyed their beers from the whole group. I can’t recommend it as a result which is a shame.”

“We were asked to leave at 10:35 pm even though they close at 11 pm and the staff was really rude the table outside is broken and because of that our drinks fell twice we came to have a good graduation time but our day was ruined by the staff specifically the long haired guy”

“Visited on Bank holiday Monday and had the best time, young red headed waitress/bartender was amazing, really made us feel welcome. @TheGazeboPub… give her a pay rise, or… just lots of tips guys 👍 A very relaxed vibe and perfect for a summer pint 😊”
