  “Myself and my friend dined here several weeks ago and unfortunately it is not the eatery it once was! The bar area is still inviting and the bar man was welcoming and professional. We proceeded to dine later on and the food was 'fair to mediocre' at best. We ordered several dishes and none of them were of quality or taste. The Nachos arrived to the table cold and poorly presented yet we were sitting less than 10 feet from the open kitchen area. My friend's mushrooms were tastelss and my Paella (the once excellent dish at BE) was so downgraded that one would hardly recognise it to be a paella. There were no shelled mussels to finish off the dish, the chicken was overcooked and stringy and the octopus was tough. We had to try to get the attention of waiting staff on several occasions despite the restaurant being half full, however once they did arrive they dealt with our requests. We spent in excess of £100 pp on that evening (including drink) and honestly the food was not worth it on any level. This is regrettable as we both loved this venue and frequented often.”

  “One of the local places in Teddington I enjoy having nearby. I particularly like the tapas style of eating here, where I can order several smaller dishes and try a bit of everything rather than committing to one large main course. It makes for a much more relaxed meal, especially when you are not in any particular hurry. The atmosphere is comfortable and informal, and I have always found the service friendly. It is the sort of place that works equally well for a proper meal or simply dropping in for a few dishes and a drink. Prices are reasonable for the area and, being local, it is somewhere I am quite happy to return to.”

  “We love love Bar Estilo- we come for special events, birthdays. Always welcoming and friendly. Great food and lovely atmosphere. Today was impromptu and couldn’t resist going in on our way back from being in town. Feel like home.”
