Customer Review Summary
The sharing platter for two is what most reviewers return to, with the Pitmasters Feast described as slow smoked beef rib, baby back ribs, pork belly, chicken thighs and pulled pork, alongside mac n cheese, grilled corn and fries. Reviewers call the portions huge. One pair could not finish it, and another reviewer advises coming hungry. Close behind are the house pickles, which one diner named the favourite part, and the house dipping gravy that suited the beef rib. The honeycomb cheesecake, the cocktails and a wide choice of drinks also draw praise, and many describe friendly, helpful staff and fast service. The criticism is smaller but specific. One Sunday lunch diner found the Yorkshire puddings overcooked and the gravy watery and thin, though the pork belly and brisket combo was good. Another was left standing in the middle of the room after giving a booking name while a group of six was seated first, yet said the food made the disorganised welcome easy to overlook.

“Came in for Sunday lunch and ordered pork belly and brisket combo which is nice that they offer it as I wanted to try both. The meat and vegetables were good, and the mac and cheese and cocktails delicious, however the yorkshire puddings seemed overcooked and the gravy very watery and thin. I will still come back to try the rest of their menu though!”

“Food and drinks were tasty! Bit on the pricey side compared to other pubs BUT I think it's worth it for the quality. Staff were exceptional - friendly, genuine and helpful”

“I have wanted to try this place after coming across their Instagram account. Great Smoked Meat and BBQ food is hard to find. This place just hits the spot. Incredible food in a really nice venue with great helpful staff. We had the Pitmasters Feast sharing platter. A selection of slow Smokd Meats & sides for two: Jacob's Ladder Beef Rib, Baby Back Pork Ribs, Pork Belly, Chicken Thighs, Pulled Pork, fries, house slaw, mac n cheese, grilled corn + house pickles. We also added the house dipping gravy which worked well with the Jacobs Ladder Beef Rib. If you go for the platter you best come Hungry.”

“The bartender Arron and the blue hair smurf bartender (Oscar) served me and were absolutely amazing. The drinks they made were fantastic and their service was engaging and fun. I love coming to this bar and it is mainly because of your wonderful bartenders and their hard work. Thank you so much xx”
