“Absolutely awful service yesterday when the 2 latte coffees that we received was taken back to the bar as it tasted like dishwasher. The blond girl behind the bar could not have cared less no apology. She disappeared round a corner and quickly came back with one then went off again on tasting that one it was only just tepid so on coming back with a second that was lovely and hot I asked her to change the first one at which point she just tutted! At £7.50 for 2 coffees I don’t think expecting them to taste of coffee and be hot is too much to ask is it?”

“Bought 2 rounds of drinks. Both exactly the same, apart from switching to Guinness zero on the second round. The second round was more expensive by about £1. Barmaid was completely disinterested when I queried it. Avoid, this place doesn't care. I genuinely don't care about £1, but I care about good service.”

“Very over priced, shockingly slow and poor customer service. The food took over an hour and was of a terrible standard. Everything was frozen or microwaved. 20 minutes after complaining and told the salad wouldn't be long waiting for the sauce, could have opened a bag of supermarket salad and heinz mayo and it would have been better”

“Cheeky half at this historic village pub. Quiet in the evening when we were there but much busier when we walked past at lunch time. Beer nice - TT's Landlord. We didn't eat. Maybe in danger of relying on its heritage, as it could do with a bit of TLC in a few places. But still great location for people watching and historical interest.”
