About The White Hart Pub
The White Hart Pub is a Grade II sports pub at 109 Alfred Gelder St in Hull city centre, built around a curved Victorian tiled bar with mahogany cabinetry. The bar pours cask ale, real cider and craft beer, with ales, stouts and lager across cask and keg, and Guinness is among the pours. Food comes through a hatch from Food for Cowboys, the taco bar next door, whose menu centres on Mexican-style dishes. The food choices also include Hull Pies, served with chips or mash, peas and gravy. Large screens show sports and big games, and dogs are welcome inside. Nearby parking is limited to street and pay-display spaces.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the beer selection, with cask ales, tap beers, stouts and lagers, and always new beers to try. One diner calls the Guinness the best pint in Hull. The Victorian curved tiled bar with mahogany cabinetry draws repeated admiration, and one visit centred on a meet the brewer event with Atom Beers that included samples. Bar staff are described as friendly and relaxed. Food comes through a hatch from Food for Cowboys next door, and diners mention a taco bar menu of elevated Mexican classics, burgers and wings, and pizzas. Another booked a table and enjoyed Hull Pies with chips or mash, peas and gravy. The main trade-off is noise, since big screens show the daily sports and the seating area can get quite loud with those watching. One reviewer also finds the restaurant-style food a tad more expensive than usual pub grub. Another didn't eat at all and was content with just a pint at the curved bar.

“Lovely old boozer with his selection of beers. Food from "food for cowboys" through the hatch is lovely but is restaurant food and as such a tad more expensive than the usual pub grub you might expect”

“Lovely traditional pub in the heart of Hull serving cask ales & tap beers. Beautiful Victorian curved tiled bar with mahogany cabinetry. Friendly bar staff. We didn't eat, just had a pint.”

“We love this place, it's one of our favourite bars to visit. With a stunning curved ceramic bar, one of only a few in the country. Always a great selection of beers, including cask & keg. Food available from Food for Cowboys next door. If you like sport they have plenty of screens for the big games. We recently visited for a meet the brewer event with Atom Beers, a great talk from 2 of the brewers, and some beers to sample.”
