  “Have been driving past this place for months, finally called in for Saturday night food, well firstly the lady who served me was fabulous. I had the curry goat, piece of chicken, rice and peas, coleslaw and a dumpling. My god the food is so good, shame I can only give 5 stars. 100% the best takeaway I’ve had in a very very long time.”

  “So so good! 😍 Decided to try it after it popped up on Uber Eats and it was such a nice surprise. Quick delivery, and the food was fresh and full of flavour! The jerk chicken was definitely the highlight 🔥 and the portions were really generous too. Absolutely worth it!”

  “I've never really had Jamaican food but a shop opened near my office in Oldham called Eat n Sweet. I fell in love with the place and I go once a week for Jerk chicken, rice & steamed veg. Working from home today in Slaithwaite, I thought i would order from here expecting something similar to what I am served in Eat n Sweet. I moved over this side two years ago and I've always said the food is nowhere near as good as it is on the other side of the hill. This place has only strengthened my belief in this. It was nice enough to eat don't get me wrong, but I found the chicken to be a bit dry and no steamed veg was a bit of a bummer for me. If you're ever in Oldham, try Eat n Sweet. You'll know what I'm on about straight after. Thanks”

  “Expensive but worth it. I had a really long day today and had been craving curry goat for ages. My local one hasn’t been accepting deliveries so decided to give this a go. Was not disappointed at all, flavours 10/10, meat very tender, and it just really hit the spot. Would order again definitely the nicest curry goat I’ve ever had”

  “I highly recommend Jerk House. We ordered: Jerk Chicken and rice, Curry Chicken and rice, Mac and Cheese and Cheesy chips. The portions here are plentiful meaning we can enjoy it all again the next day, which not only makes it good value for money; but also is a testament to how delicious the food is. My Grandparents live back home in the Caribbean now so I miss the taste of home cooked Caribbean food and Jerk House definitely provides the same feeling I get when eating my Grandmother’s food. Lots of reviews on here talk about price but it is my opinion that you can’t put a price on fresh, home cooked soul food that doesn’t make one feel as if they have been beaten up after dining, much like other takeaways in Huddersfield. Whenever we order the food comes in less than an hour and I am never disappointed! Big up”
