Customer Review Summary
Breakfast draws the most praise, with the breakfast burrito called delicious and yummy by two reviewers, and the banana bliss porridge and a tuna melt panini also earning compliments. Coffee comes close behind, described as fantastic with lovely latte art, alongside a smoothie called gorgeous. One diner singles out a jacket potato with crispy skin and a side salad. Several call the staff friendly and the service quick, and two mention that dogs are welcome downstairs. The criticism is sharper but less frequent. One reviewer found the bacon tough and the sausage lacking flavour, felt the menu was limited without chips, and questioned why breakfast stops at noon. Another found the banana chocolate cake dry and the macchiato so bitter it needed two sugars, and disliked staff praising their own work in front of customers. Drinks prices struck one reviewer as expensive. Several appreciate the sign at the door explaining exactly how to order.

“£7.90 for a dry preice of banana chocolate cake and a macchiato that was do bitter I had to put two sugars in to make it palatable. The icing on the cake was the staff proclaiming how excellent they were at their jobs in front of customers. Nice location though.”

“Very friendly staff, we love the sign at the door telling you exactly how to order as usually everywhere is different and figuring out whether you sit or just stand waiting is frustrating, so the sign was incredibly helpful for us. We had a smoothie and a coffee, both of which were gorgeous. We had a breakfast burrito and a tuna melt panini, again both were delicious. We will be coming back here with our dog as the downstairs is dog friendly.”

“Best jacket potato I’ve had in a long time, cooked perfectly, crispy skin, not too dry, lovely side salad. Would recommend coming here x”

“Stopped off for a bite to eat and a coffee after the Switzerland of Yorkshire walk (look it up on strava). Decent food, breakfast burrito was yummy, coffee fantastic with some lovely latte art. Decent prices too. Plenty of seating inside and upstairs, we set outside. Service nice and quick. Would go back again. Thank you”
