Customer Review Summary
Breakfast is the main draw at this Littleborough cafe, with diners praising the vegetarian breakfast and its vegetarian sausages, a gluten free breakfast, poached egg on toast and a club sandwich. Hash browns and the children's menu get a mention too. Close behind is the coffee, described as great quality with good flavour depth and a leaf on top, while one reviewer also looks forward to trying the cakes. Staff are repeatedly called friendly, welcoming, helpful and patient, and one server is credited with looking after a gluten free diner. Portions are called great and filling, and one reviewer found good value. The one critical review, from a regular, describes a quiet Sunday where drinks arrived after the food and a server rolled her eyes and left a straw on the table when asked for one, though that reviewer still called the food top notch and praised the weekday staff. Several reviewers say they plan to return.

“We stopped in today during a charity bike ride in support of the Bradley Lowery Foundation, and we couldn’t have asked for a warmer welcome. The staff were absolutely superb—so friendly, welcoming, and supportive from the moment we arrived. They really made us feel at home after a long ride. The food was absolutely delicious and just what we needed. Everything was fresh, tasty, and served with a smile. A huge thank you to everyone at Cherry Tree Café for your kindness, generosity, and for supporting us and the Bradley Lowery Foundation. Your support means so much, and we really appreciate everything you did for us. We’d highly recommend Cherry Tree Café and will definitely be back!”

“Hi we visited the cafe on Sunday and we was deeply disappointed. We visit regularly often twice a week but have never been in on a Sunday. We were served by a young girl who is in desperate need of some training. I am in no way trying to jeprodise the business in any way as we will still visit as we love the place. It is such a shame. The food was top notch as always, the young girl took our drinks order and then came back for our food order. We did not receive our drinks until after our food came out which I would understand if it was busy which it was not. I then asked for a straw for my orange juice and she rolled her eyes and just put the straw on the table and walked away! She didn't ask us how our food was but the lovely Sarah did. If she is going to work every Sunday then I think we will stick to coming during the week where we will receive top notch service from Sarah, Charlotte or Erin! Edit: this was 31/5/2026. I have had to make an edit as the review has been pending for a while”
