  “We had a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely amazing—everything was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully prepared. Every dish tasted like it was made with great care and quality ingredients. What made the evening even more memorable was the service. We arrived very late, yet the staff and especially Erik welcomed us with genuine warmth and treated us as though we had arrived at the start of the evening. Erik was professional, attentive, and personable throughout our meal, making us feel truly valued as guests. Exceptional food, outstanding service, and a wonderful overall experience. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant.”

  “Ordered dinner from here on delivery for me and my vegan friend since its one of the only places that has a more diverse vegan menu. We more than understand that food doesn't look great after travelling but not only did it look bad it was so poor quality. I'm Asian myself, and we've both worked in kitchens and for chefs, but the only thing we ate in the end were the sweet corn fritter balls. Nothing looked anything like it did in the menu. Every single sauce was just pure water and bland, apart from my beef curry which had maybe 3 small pieces of beef, was just a dark gritty paste and swimming in oil, not the beautiful orange creamy sauce as advertised, the beef was tender in all fairness but there was no taste apart from beef. Had to pay extra for jasmine rice on top of the £16 for the curry but it was stale crunchy rice, and definitely not jasmine rice, maybe basmati. The vegan satay looks like a great meat substitute, we received brown mushy balls. My friend also ordered the vegan katsu curry, again just stale rice, a brown water sauce and dry 'chicken'. Made a complaint to the delivery company and waiting to hear back, only really happy to pay for the sweet corn fritter balls as that's the only thing we had more than 1 bite of. Really really disappointed as the reviews seemed so great and the photos looked fantastic, and we both love authentic Asian cuisine,”

  “Me and my girls went for a bottomless brunch and had lovely Alison as our server who provided us with everything we needed to know for our bottomless brunch. We had some lovely drinks, food and fast service and a very smiley face from Alison to brighten up the mood :)”

  “I had a wonderful dining experience. Alison was exceptional throughout my visit—friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. She took my allergies very seriously, explained the menu clearly, and recommended several suitable options, which gave me great confidence when ordering. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service made the experience even better. Alison's professionalism, knowledge, and warm attitude really stood out. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning.”

  “We had the bottomless bowls at Banana Tree and absolutely loved it! Everything we tried was delicious, fresh, and full of flavour. A special mention to Jack and Alison, who were both fantastic throughout our visit. They were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had a great experience from start to finish. Their excellent service really made the meal even more enjoyable. We'll definitely be back and would highly recommend Banana Tree to anyone looking for great food and outstanding service!”

  “Came here as a table of 3 on a Sunday evening and even though it was really quiet in terms of number of patrons, the restaurant still felt very loud which was slightly off putting. The service was lack lustre and we felt the staff weren’t particularly attentive. I’ll give the food credit though, it was really good and we all finished every mouthful! I’d come back if I was craving it but wouldn’t go out of my way for it”

  “We came here on Saturday in September 2025. The restaurant that doesn’t open until 12 o’clock we were able to walk in and get a big table for 7- eight people. Beautiful decor, nice environment and very good service. It is a great place to have a gathering. They are not 100% authentic Asian food but they still taste good as fusion Asian. I ordered the seasonal special - katsu carbonara, basically it is noddles with katsu, and with cheese on top. It was delicious. However the noodles texture could be softer. There are affordable kids menu option. However the soy sauce noodles were very salty. I don’t recommend. Around £15 a dish. For 4 adults, 3 children, it cost £145.97 including service charge.”
