About Conquerors March
Conquerors March is a pub on Stonestile Ln in Hastings, set on the southern tip of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The kitchen serves restaurant-style meals with table service. Roast dinners include a trio roast and a 3-meat option with all the trimmings and a pudding, and beef lasagne is also on the menu. The fish is responsibly sourced, and the dessert list runs from traditional to modern comfort food. At the bar, the team pours beers and ales, mixes cocktails and makes coffee, with a separate Drinks Menu for the full range. Dogs can sit on the bar side of the pub. Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the roast dinners, with the Sunday three-meat roast and its trimmings and pudding named as the standout, though one found the Yorkshire pudding overdone and the crackling too solid. Close behind is the staff, with several describing friendly, helpful servers who checked on tables and kept drinks topped up. Others mention the beef lasagne, the cheese and bacon burger and a passion fruit mojito, with generous portions and a food discount voucher cited as a bonus. One group noted six dishes arriving hot at the same time. The bar side of the pub welcomed a diner with a puppy, and a small playground for children gets a mention. One reviewer was sharply critical, describing a sticky bar, uncleared tables and overflowing ashtrays, and said a smeary glass was swapped for another unclean one while staff rolled their eyes. Another reviewer noted the Sunday menu on the tables differs from the online menu, and a shared coffee order of a cappuccino and a latte rounded off one lunch.

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had such a wonderful experience here! Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. I especially want to recognize Lloyd, the general manager, for being so kind and helpful. He really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience, and his genuine care for the customers definitely stood out. It’s clear that the team takes pride in what they do. I would absolutely recommend this place and will definitely be coming back! 😊”

“Stopped to go into this establishment and at first glance seemed like it could be a nice place but after ordering drinks and finding the bar disgustingly sticky and dirty we opted to sit outside, Tables not cleared ashtrays over flowing yet not busy in here enough to be left. Bugs frozen into the icecubes glasses smeary and unclean took this to bar staff was offered another filthy glass an eyes rolled at just because i didn't want to drink from a lipstick smeared glass. Toilets filthy beyond excusable as not a time where there was a-lot of people staff just wandering around needs a thorough clean and staff to do customer care courses. Very disappointed as had heard only good things. Clearly not a blip after a busy shift it is filthy place.”

“Visited this place with my friend because I received a coupon with a generous 40% discount on food, and it was such an amazing experience 🫠🫶🏻 I had the beef lasagne and a passion fruit mojito, my friend had the cheese and bacon burger. Food was generous potion, great value for the price, the discount was a bonus! Best cocktail ever! The pub is beautiful and there’s a little playground for kids too. I’d highly recommend this place! “There is adequate parking at The Conquerors March in Hastings, which is always a bonus if you are out to lunch or dinner. The welcome is always very pleasant, as was the waitress service during our visit. We had a discount voucher and was required to choose from the main menu. The menu had a good choice of starters, mains, and puddings to satisfy most peoples requirements. The waitress asked if we required drinks and there was a Drinks Menu and a good choice of beers and ales at the bar. We had made up our minds on the food and ordered this at the same time as ordering the drinks. The food is excellent and is serviced very quickly after ordering. We ended up having a Cappuccino and a Latte to finish our lunch. Overall the experience was excellent and the Conqueror's March has a pleasant atmosphere in which to enjoy a luncheon or dinner. I would recommend a visit if you have never been.”
