  “Nice warm welcome when visiting the Castle Eden Inn. Plenty of seating inside and out, with sports showing on several screens. Specials included Hot Corned Beef Pie which was very nice. Would visit again.”

  “The starter thai scotch egg was exceptional. The hulumi sticks were beautiful. The 2 main meals were Spanish chicken & prawn dish of the special menu were amazing really enjoyed Spanish dish. The pints were spot on. Definitely going again. Thank you”

  “Very nice, friendly staff. very accommodating as I have few allergies cheese came out to see me, and gave me choice of food to choose from. I would definitely recommend the castle Eden inn. We will definitely be returning. A big thank you!”

  “Saturday night visit and no wait for a table, should of been alarm bells!!! Shawarma flatbread was good but rump steak sizzler was swimming in oil, house fries looked and tasted like they were cooked the day before Used to be a great pub restaurant but I will be avoiding this now.”

  “We attended castle Eden inn for Sunday lunch as a recommendation it took a while for staff to come and take order which wasn’t a problem as we were chatting and catching up. When the food came my husband was given beef instead of lamb, turkey was nice however carrots, broccoli and Yorkshire pudding were hard. My dinner had no roast potatoes. We complained about the hard veg. They brought us more and said that’s as soft as the chef can get them, they were no softer. A lot of food was left as we couldn’t eat it. We asked for the bill, one of the members of staff threw the bill on the table and said there ya bill.”

  “Visited for the first time with my good lady and was very impressed. The food was top notch, plus it a great choice on the menu and was chuffed that there was an option of Quorn Parmo as I am veggie and not many places do veggie Parmos. My girlfriend enjoyed her steak pie and veg too. The staff, including Kira were very attentive, was very impressed with the customer service and very efficient. We shall be back soon! Many thanks. x”

  “We chose here for date night as we've never been and it's only minutes from home lol. Right from the start the service was fantastic, Mia was so polite and helpful. The food was top notch, i highly recommend the belly pork starter. Every course was timed brilliantly, we enjoyed our meal so much my other half even got a banofee pie to take home lol. I would highly recommend 👌”

  “Went here for a meal and honestly, wow, it was absolutely beautiful.. Was lovely atmosphere good music and some good customer service. Very friendly staff. Such a beautiful restaurant good parking I will for be going back again!”

  “Sunday lunch was nice. Beef tender, cauliflower cheese was nice. Turkey not a brilliant flavour. Veg was quite Al-Dente. Puddings were super. Service was good. BUT. I was overcharged for x2 two course meals and charged for three puddings. So CHECK YOUR BILL before you leave!... I had a 16 mile round trip to get a refund. The lad on the till apologised, said it was his first Sunday shift and didn't know the price of two course offer. Didn't know how he got three puddings entered...No knocking off the price of my pint or coffee to cover my petrol or inconvenience. Its OK but 'The Duke of Cleveland ' or 'The Raby Arms' are good alternatives for a Sunday Lunch around Hartlepool.”
